It's a busy place as it's utilised by locals and tourists but it is well stocked and you can get most items. Better to go early morning as soon as it opens if you can to avoid the rush.
wouldn’t sell alcohol to a mother with her children over 18 years old/ alcohol wasn’t for the children. The tall male manager on the self service was extremely rude, has terrible people skills and misogynistic as he wouldn’t look/listen to me a female but would only communicate with my boyfriend. The shop itself is too small for the volumes of people. Won’t be coming back.
Quite hard put my finger on why because there are so many reasons but this is one of the best shops I’ve ever been to I am a local so I may be a little biased. Staff don’t talk to you unless you talk to them first which is great for someone who doesn’t like to talk to people they don’t know. When you do talk to them they are great.nCouldn’t ask for a better shopping experience.nnAs a side note, a lot of the one star reviews were no fault of the staff and rather the people in Filey.
Staff nice. This Tesco needs more human checkouts/ cashiers, especially during holiday season. Queues of people waiting to be served by a human while frozen stuff defrosts. Create human checkouts. Create more jobs.
This shop is always rammed no matter the time of day or time of year. People act like animals and charge through like its a race to a free buffet no regard for others at all. Avoid this store if you want to have a decent look not leave after 5 minutes as you're fed up of being rammed into or run over by a worker with one of those crates.
