The deliberate & ongoing “range reduction” by the Tesco Buying Team is a massive disservice to the local community & giving me less & less reasons to even begin to attempt my weekly shop at this store. This continual destocking of everyday items has now finally forced me do a main shop elsewhere & really only use them now for last minute fruit & veg etc. A Superstore? I don’t think so !
Could you please have a Baking Needs section like other supermarkets. Sugar and eggs are in one place, and flours and baking bits are in another. The staff and always helpful and friendly though.
I have never thought this tesco was any good, its prices are always more than other tesco stores and that includes it club card offers and its sell by shelf only ever really knocks 10-20p off.nnBut I have never felt insulted, completely unacceptable staff members, I picked up my usual 4 pint of milk when I can’t get to Sainsbury’s for my cheaper per litre 6pint, they had it advertised at 1.55 to find the scanner read 1.90. So reasonably, I asked the gentleman. It all felt so patronising when he called over, who I assume was the supervisor, at the same time he made a slightly inaudible joke which they both found quite amusing the supervisor was still laughing, with him, when she arrived. The gentleman said ‘apparently the price of milk is different’ in a manner that would go well with them both rolling their eyes.nnNow I know it is only .35 cheaper but I think this Tesco’s needs to be reminded that for some there is severe austerity out their, even in Haslemere, and although not said publicly, we are in a cost of living crisis where yes .35 is a saving. This Tesco not only keeps its prices up but will charge more for items than other Tescos stores, it has slowly removed or hidden cost effective products 6 pints of milk.nnRecommendation: go to M&S or Waitrose, I used to think they are snobby but actually the prices are no different and the quality is much much better from meat and veg to candy and chocolate. Even their sell buy products are often near 50% off, not like Tesco's sorry excuse for a sale. And the incident with the staff a final nail in an ever expanding coffin, I would never speak to a patient like this, nor should I expect it from staff at Tesco. This comment has been a long time coming.
It's a Tesco's but a Super Store.? I don't think so? To call a SuperStore as a Super suppose to be Bigger? As a car park well is not that big but good spacious. Any ways good store very clean and tidy good facilities very helpful staffnDo i recommend yes is a good Supermarket as every Tesco's
Very good tesco, sells chocolate orange's, which is all a person needs. Also, in walking distance of my girlfriend so she doesent need to use to much time and energy to get there.nnDaily update, woke up, alarm buzzing, birds chirping, ready to embark on my daily journey to the tesco superstore, and I left my humble abode to begin my trek to the shop. the sun was glistening on the wet leaves, and the dew reflecting kisses of the sun into my eyes, I pulled down my shades and walked the corner to reach theshop. Outside was a dead fox, guts spilling, and it looked like a tesco staff member was eating it? to my utter disbelief i went inside to find the stationary set my beautiful girlfiend needed, and some oat cream too she diddnt tell me to get any im just thoughtfull. I could not find the staionary she needed, and i was falbberghasted, appauled, i could not believe the sights, I had wasted a lovely day, and decided to head home to propose to my girl, fingers crossed for tommorows udate on that situation.
