I can honestly say that this is the worst supermarket I have ever been to! The majority of the staff are rude and unhelpful, and never smile at customers, including the checkout operators, and there's a lady at the self checkout who makes you feel awkward and implies that you are trying to steal when the machine messes up. There are lots of empty shelves a lot of the time, I don't know if there is a staff shortage, if they are too lazy, or if they are not getting sent enough stock but the shelves are often bare and messy, and the workers never seem to know where to find items in the store when they are asked. The hot food and deli counters are never opened at the advertised times and either close hours too early or hours later than it says on the board, and some of the staff there stare at you and make you feel uncomfortable to be shopping, which is not how any customer should feel in a supermarket. I have found I can talk to the customers in the store easier than I can talk to the staff as the customer service is so disgusting at times. There has already been a complaint made to the Tesco customer service line about the rudeness of one member of staff in particular but I feel as though I can't keep on ringing up and complaining as it's embarrasing on my part. I don't understand how there can be so many things bad about a supermarket as I have never experienced something like this before, and how there are so many members of staff looking miserable and having an attitude in one place. If you can shop somewhere else then I would definitely recommend going anywhere but here.

Plenty of car parking spaces, staff helpful and friendly and actually talk to you on the check out. Store tidy and people are happy to help you if you can't find something

If I had a choice this store would not even give 1 star. I have shopped in Tesco all my life and was always happy to say this. Visiting this store is painful and I’m sorry to say a waste of time. Every time I shop at this Tesco I go away disappointed. There stock levels are always low, example on Easter bank holiday weekend in Somerset they have run out of Thatchers Cider!! I cannot reiterate this any more A BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND IN SOMERSET!! I mean this stuff practically runs through the taps in this area and the local supermarket cannot get stock levels of the most basic of all things that West Country people will be wanting on a bank holiday. Another example, I visited the store last week on a weekday and they had run out of Bananas, again I see this fruit as a basic nessesity!! I called Tesco to complain and a young lady kindly informed me that they were currently rearranging the store, “on a bank flipping holiday” urrrrm rearranging where the bananas go 😂🤪 Now personally I have never been a fan of Asda, we only have 2 big supermarkets in Bos (Burnham-on-Sea) and Asda is the other 1, I would rather drive that extra mile, walk it with pushchair, get a bus, walking over a path of hot coals!! Rather than shop in this Tesco ever again. I will go back to other Tesco’s but Bos has burnt all the bridges for now and until they sort the stock problems out, I will not be going back! Today 4days after snow has gone,people have been panic buying. A dreadful experience, Tried self scan someone barged me from behind while I was trying to work out how to use it.it was a staff member!! A little help would have been appreciated. Asked same lady for help trying to check out I am with a customer said she bluntly. And only came to help when the customer tried to helpy We scanned a item twice and missed one felt like shoplifters She rescanned every thing and we had missed something. Then we left and found she too had missed items so back again. I know Burnham is famous for Brummies petty thieving but felt terrible Not a good store . Or perhaps it was all a government plan to get us used to empty shops for a no deal Britexit The north south divide where us becomes me me me .

Before I start this review my rate is so contradicting to the review because apart from this reason this tescos is amazing! Now usually I like this store a lot but recently its really pissed me off now my reason won't really mattermto most people to the gaming community out there specifically on the playstation this may or may not piss you off to. I needed a PlayStation £10 voucher so i went to the Isle where there kept and apparently they dont sell them which is ridiculous its not just they were out of stock they literally don't sell them they sell £20 and £50 vouchers only. then i look to the right to see that there's not only £10 vouchers for xbox but theres also £15, £25, and £50! So congratulations tescos for being so one sided youyjust lost 10 quid!
