I had to do my weekly shop at 8.45 pm yesterday having a full time job and family I struggle to fit it in got around the supermarket to find all checkouts closed and staff stood chatting/laugjing to each other whilst all the customers including myself and a full trolley of shopping used the self service checkout. Luckily I managed to balance it all without any breakages on the small table at side of self service till however I will be finding a supermarket that knows how to treat its customers, customer service they don't know the meaning of the word!
Needed to feed my baby so I was about to go into a photo booth I spotted but a member of staff informed me that there was a dedicated space for it and even pushed the pram for me as I had picked baby up already, she was very polite and friendly. It was an individual baby changing room with a chair, the changing mat was big and padded with a blue roll dispenser to place baby on. There was a sink with automatic tap and it all smelled lovely and clean.
Tesco Brigg are quite simply useless . the pumps on their petrol forecourt hardly ever work , not only do they charge more for fuel than any other local forecourt within a 5 mile range but they cant even maintain the pumps to reliably rip you off . This store won't be getting anymore of my money from now on , and you can't even complain because the telephone lines are an endless loop of nonsense and the website doesn't even mention complaints . Useless , robbing , barstewards
There needs to be more Staff on the tills at busy times. Some of the staff give you the feeling that they hate their Job.
Tesco superstore in Brigg isn't like a proper superstore. It hasn't a wide variety and is very small
Had to go shopping this morning with my young son who has a learning disability. I'm so grateful to the lovely lady on the checkout who noticed I had my hands full and asked another lovely member of staff to help me to the car as I had a trolley and my sons large adapted buggy. Outstanding service. It's tricky being a parent to a child with special needs and it's so appreciated when someone goes out of their way to make things easier. Well done Brigg Tesco and thankyou so much ladies.
The quality of food is fine, layout absolutely awful, aisles to narrow and while there is some lovely staff there are some rude ones, it's my last resort supermarket to go in Brigg.
Went early this morning..was told to join the que even though I only had 4 items and no one was using the 6 self check outs, I used the self check out anyway and finished my shopping, as I left ther was still a large que at the other end of the store and no one was being sent to use the self check outs , I THOUGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AVOIDING QUES ..... The 2 staff members I had contact with would have been better employed in manning the checkout tills . COME ON TESCO GET UR ACT TOGETHER.
The wife was ill this Saturday so I was sent shopping. Included in the list was 12 eggs. When I got home there were two broken ones in the box. Apparently I should have checked them. So I take the broken ones back. No apology for getting me a telling off, no apology for ruining Sunday breakfast. Instead I was told I should have brought the whole box back. When I pointed out, quite reasonably I believe, that I had purchased the eggs for Sunday breakfast I got a great big sigh, and a repeat of 'if you had brought the box back I could have swapped the box for you'. Round the circuit again, but I got them for Sunday breakfast and it kind of spoilt that for everyone. Another large sigh, then I suppose I can refund you the price of the two eggs. When will people get it is not about the money, more a recognition that something went wrong and messed a situation up and all that is needed is a simple apology. All I got was 'do you want the money or not?'. So I pocketed the princely sum of £1-20, went away unhappy and determined to never darl n Tesco's door again.
This is just a normal Tesco but not many options for gifts and expensive. The staff are nice and are willing to help and donate to the local area near brigg
