it’s a bit nuts how when 4 out of 5 people in a group have their ID we’re all around 25 years old no alcohol is able to be bought. Not necessarily the fault of the shop but the staff could’ve been a bit less smug. We didn’t really appreciate being talked about as if we weren’t in the room. The entire queue got held up and it felt like a bit of a power trip to be honest. Luckily there’s a Aldi close by!
This is where I get my weekly shop, I have been to a few lidl's in the area and this one is the best in my opinion, the shelves seem to be stocked well and the products are well priced and the weekly special buys are great, nice bakery and plant selection. Plenty of parking and not far from a B and M shop, the local Tesco and close to the town center
Great shop, and very good pricing. Ample parking for disabled and family. Always have a great outdoor plant section as well. Also stocks the £1.50 mixed item boxes. And a great bakery section.
Very reasonable prices.very slow on the checkouts.only have 1 or maybe 2 people on the checkouts..then when you get there then that's when they close the checkout.. then you move to the other checkout and 1 minutes later then they open the same checkout you were stood at.also loads of empty boxes on the shelves.when you ask anyone for items that's not on the shelf.they say sorry if it's not on the shelf we're out of stock.
A good range and reasonable value in today's climate
