Tesco offers a wide range of products catering to every need, from groceries to household items. Convenient locations, competitive prices, and efficient service make shopping here a breeze. Plus, their loyalty program adds extra value to every purchase.
Massive thanks to Heidi and Ronan who helped solve a big issue for us after we ordered travel money with Tesco online. Offered first class customer service in a time when Customer service seems to be a forgotten thing. Went above and beyond to help and it is very much appreciated. Thank You.
Massive superstore which is the focal point of the shopping centre it sits in. It's got good extended opening hours, so you can find quieter times to shop. Recommend avoiding during peak hours, especially on a weekend afternoon. I know you'll read this and think that's the same for any supermarket, but trust me, this place is another level. It turns into hell on earth. My photos were taken at around 10:30pm on a Friday after catching a movie at the nearby cinema. I have previously on more than one occasion witnessed people lurking by the reduced items shelf and then fighting each other when the staff bring out the items to put on there. It was honestly like being at the zoo. For such a huge store, it can let you down by not stocking certain items or brands that you expect to be common, but it has most things. It's also one of the more reasonably priced big supermarkets in my opinion. A couple of times, I've engaged the staff to help me find something that's not on the shelf, they've gone above and beyond to help. Shopping here since it opened 9 years ago, always experienced satisfactory to brilliant customer service. If you spend over £5 in here, you get a parking voucher that covers 2 hours of parking for free you may have to ask for it. Parking is free after 6pm, and all day Sunday.
As others have said shopped here used their voucher then received a £70 parking fine because their vouchers for parking don't work. Tesco couldn't care less no responsibility for having a contract with the parking company and handing out tickets to their customers that the machine tells you work and that actually don't . Save yourself the money and go to Asda at Great Bridge instead shopping will probably be cheaper too.
Parking machine is a joke. Pay for nothing. The tesco is ok, but the parking is very bad. There have been many times when the machine couldn't find my car. I just got a letter to pay a fine for not paying for parking. I took the parking voucher on purpose because again the machine could not find my car. I sent it in to them that I paid and the machine will not give me any receipt when I use a voucher. I attached the photo of the voucher. However, I was fined even though I "only" have to pay half. I don't want to get upset about this so I will never go to the tesco there again. Fortunately there are other stores nearby that don't have this problem. Shame.
Worst customer service staff. Bought a product, and took it back for refund/exchange after few days, the staff said they can’t take it back because there is no fault in it and one lady at the customer service desk started throwing sarcasm on me. The manager is highly unqualified and she doesn’t know how to resolve the situation, as far as i know tesco offers the 14 day return policy on the products.
I have shopped at this GIANT Tesco store in new shopping centre West Bromwich , the GIANT FAMOUS store suppose to be , and I got charged £100 parking ticket penalty fine !!! I’m so angry and disappointed with Tesco store, they let me down like this. I will never ever shop at Tesco again. I’m mentally devastated because of this ripping off.
I shopped for £8.85 from you today. The woman at the cash desk gave me your parking free voucher. When I started using it, it said I had to pay 85 pence. Why did I waste my time and money? I just paid the parking fee and left. Why do you say free parking and make false statements? It was free during the Corona period, but when my wife went right after, she did not see any warning and did not pay for parking. Then came the punishment. It is impossible to understand you! With this money, neither you will be rich nor we will be poor, but I just want to believe in the truth of your words...
Came into era today & got treated by one of ur colleagues well unmannered, when I went to the self service checkout to pay for my sandwiches I'd, brought, the reason is that one of the sandwiches didn't register on the scanner area so I called over the assistant he came over & said to me WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM so I told him then he scanned the sandwich, handed it over to me and SAID THERE YOU GO by shoving it bk in my hand. So can u get this sorted I'm not gna be treated like that again how very rude of him.
This shop is a joke. Security staff are rude and laugh at customers asking for management, also training is needed for the staff as they do not understand the challenge 25 policy, they will allow a proxy sale of cigarettes but not alcohol. Staff are rude and they need to be more professional, laughing and berating paying customers purely because they are young girls.
