Not open 24 hour at all,bit ridiculous the fact it dose say 24 hours. Apparently confirmed by the business 10 weeks ago. So don't waist your time if your running out of fule wouldn't go here if it is past midnight.nnThe staff put cones up even though they leave the lights on and it has pay at the pump.nnThere is other service station about 9 minutes drive from the tesco. Or one that is an asda express about 6 minutes away that is actually open 24 hours.
I had a very disappointing experience at this petrol station. The lady working at the kiosk cashier counter at around 9:00 PM on Friday, 19 June 2026, was extremely rude and unfriendly. I was on a phone call when she abruptly told me that phones cannot be used on the petrol forecourt. While I understand that safety rules must be followed, the way she spoke to me was unnecessarily harsh and discourteous.nCustomer service was poor, and she did not use basic politeness such as saying “please” when addressing customers. There is a respectful way to enforce rules, and unfortunately that was not the case during my visit. I left feeling disappointed by the attitude and lack of professionalism shown.
Update: If I could add another 1 star review I would. Showed up before midnight on a normal Thursday and the whole place is closed. Cones across the entrance. No notice online. This is unacceptable and utterly insane. Thankfully this time I am not running on dregs, but what if I was? Absolutely appalled and furious.nnOriginal review: Seriously? All pumps unavailable and it’s not even midnight yet? This is ridiculous.
Terrible experience this morning at Tesco Petrol Clifton Moor.nUsed pay at pump option but after filling the transaction did not register and the screen showed please wait.nChecked my online banking and all it showed was £120 pending and not my spend of £29.70 Reported to staff who initially tried to brush me off saying it will update eventually.Only when I requested a receipt did they realise their was an issue.The pump transaction would not update so I was either facing the full charge or no payment.After 15 mins one staff member decided to call their helpdesk.I have to say the other member of staff made me feel like this was my fault And I was causing them a problem.nAbout 10 mins later their helpdesk reset the pump and I was given a receipt and the transaction showed online.At no point was I offered an apology and was made to feel like this was my fault and not faulty Tesco pumps.nWhile I was waiting numerous people reported issues so looks like there is a problem with the pumps here.
Sick of going here to find half the pumps closed and constant “no diesel” “no momentum” signs
