£1.89 for diesel here in Southport, £1.79 IN Tesco Middlebrook, 10p per litre more, if you have the misfortune to live in Southport. How is that justifiable, its a RIP-OFF !!
Good place to shop. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good bakery, freshly baked bread, muffin's and more. Good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Good value for money. Pleasant shopping experience. Good selection of electronic products, games and more. Free parking, plenty of places for parents with children. Has car wash while you shop.
This is a fairly large Tesco store. It has everything you need from a supermarket. They have a fuel forecourt as well. They have ample parking and I never fail to find a space. Mind you I'm the type who parks far away, so there is always a few spaces for me to pick from. I would say, like with many other car parks, the spaces could do with being slightly wider.
Stocking is poor, always gaps on shelves and fresh stock has too many mixed up dates, disorganised. Too many queues not enough tills. Too many supervisors wandering about with headsets on looking like they should be doing more! Those staff that are there look like they are run off their feet, not enough staff!
Twice I managed to lose an item of shopping in the last year and twice the staff have allowed me to replace them free. One lady, Dot always calls my son my his name and makes the trips there very pleasant.
You can buy most things you might generally need here 24*7 except for Sunday opening. Good variety of the more exotic ingredients to allow you to cook dishes from around the world
It sells petrol, which is handy as I totally needed petrol at the time. The people wear blue uniforms and look about as happy as you could expect for people who deal with folk buying petrol and either acting superior, snooty and aloof towards them or dealing with those talkative life story types while thinking "just pay and go away" so yeah, hats off to those blue uniforms wearing Tesco souls who make sure everything gets done so that senior management can get cars and bonuses on the company dime. Hurrah for the little guy
Good range of useful items for the traveler. Easy exit out to the main roads, but a bit of a hairpin to get to it from the road. You need to exit a roundabout to enter the approach.
