It's Tesco. There isn't really much new I can say about Tesco. They never seem to have enough tills open would be my only gripe
Good store with plenty of variety. It's clean and safe and the staff are very friendly and efficient.
I used to think it was five star but more and more of the foods I buy are disappearing off the shelves for the brands which are good for the profits I'm sure but not for the customers I personally go to morrisons more now than I ever did
Local. Plenty of parking.staff fantastic always friendly and helpful.
Always clean, and friendly staff. So much so i go to thw manned tills instead of the help yourself tills. They are fine for 2 or 3 things but more than 10 things and it's unhelpful and a pain to use. Also not helpful for disabled people.
Lovely place to eat, with great food and friendly staff.
Change of chef a few months ago saw a change in standards of hot food. No longer a pleasure to eat there.
Today My daughter and I took my disabled mum into the phone department of the store. A gentleman named Edward assisted us. All I can say is, Edward is most definitely a credit to the store. He helped us to make the best choice for my mum, offered to set up the phone so it was ready for mum to use but most importantly, he made my mum laugh and smile. All of the above meant a lot to us. He is an A star in our books. Thank you for your time, patience and kindness Edward. Grateful customers Tracy, Tammy and mum/nana Dawn.
went to get a new phone contract sorted and the service was excellent. both men working there were very friendly and helpful. the service overall was good and staff were friendly. cafe made me a bangin cuppa
It really depends on the day and time as to what your experience will be like. Sometimes it's incredibly busy and therefore difficult to keep social distance with everyone, including the store colleagues. It's difficult to get to where you want to be for the crowds of people and you constantly feel as though you're in someone's way. This isn't the fault of the store or colleagues, it just feels closed in and crowded, as it does with most supermarkets. When it's quiet, it's infinitely better. It's definitely worth waiting for the off-peak periods, when there's fewer people. Generally, these are the times when stock is replenished, so is also good if you need something with a longer expiry date. You may also find the short dated items are more often put on clearance at these times as well. At the very least, having time to browse without having people looking over your shoulder, is worth waiting for. The shop is usually kept fairly tidy and well stocked. The only occasions I can think they had a large space empty was when they were having range changes. Their range of 'free from' items can be hit and miss. I have coeliac disease but I'm not vegan, and I don't need to be, but the vast majority of the frozen and chilled food is aimed at vegan diets. The problem for me is, the vegan food usually isn't gluten free too. What we could do with is with every supermarket actually, for them to look at and label other products they do that are 'free-from', even if they weren't specifically designed to be. Rant over, sorry Overall, I like the store. I go in often. The colleagues, although often very busy, are helpful and pleasant. I've not had a bad experience that I can think of.
