Nice little shopping area. Would be 5 stars but I'm not a fan of the ticket machine. Takes way to long to obtain a ticket as most people don't know how to navigate the menu. If your going to park take a 50p coin, much quicker. Nice touch playing music over the car park speakers though.
A frequent visitor I consider we are fortunate to have this range of shops and car parking which is closer than many such shopping complexes to the town centre itself. The complex is kept very clean and presentable, holds special eventsfarmers market and assorted display days from time to time and always has a superb Christmas lighting display. Whilst there are toilets in one or two of the shop units there are no meaningful toilet facilities in the centre proper. Also many visitors have difficulty with the unnecessarily complex parking machines.
Always nice and busy! Sometimes the overflow car park could be advertised a bit more. However, seems to be quite a turn over for shops so the choices are limites. Hopefully with the renovations of the town centre it might attract more retailers into the Yard.
Have to move car after 4 hours!! Parking is a money making scandal, first retail park I know where have to pay to visit retail shops… free parking for a hour in town and 90 mins across the road on there ANPR cameras - come on could make yours free for 90 mins and remove the 4 hour max stay, it’s not a busy town…
It's a pity they don't make town centre like Marshall yard it's a lovely place to visit just need more shops. As for putting a cinema in town Really!! We don't need one it would have been far better if they had make the old oldrids store into individual shops inside especially for winter it would have been nice to have had somewhere other than marshalls yard to go and shop as it stands at the moment the town is a dump and I can't see how a cinema is going to change that.
A mixture of standard high street shops with a few surprises too. It is open air so not so good in bad weather. Limited paid parking available and everywhere is wheelchair accessible.
Great little shopping centre. A good eatery Caldero Lounge and range off shops from Poundland to, Browns. Parking machines can be a pain as they seem to be different from others.
I love Marshalls Yard, plenty of cheap parking for up to four hours. It's a pity that Sea Salt, Body Shop and Fat Face have disappeared though, as it does seem to be turning into a cafe/restaurant area
I hate the parking meters. It's like sitting exams. Really good fun with a queue behind you. Why not put a nice old man in a small shed to take money.? Too easy?
Nice place with nice atmosphere. Music not to loud. Service takes about 25 minutes, waffle pudding is bigger than the tapas board main . I did not leave this place full, but not hungry either. The mains could have been bigger.
