It reminds me of Walmart. Cafe, bank, optician, pharmacy, mobile, locksmith, grab&go section and massive alcohol area! This shop is just too good to be true. Might be an issue for people who do not drive- too much shopping to carry, although it is very close to Gateshead Interchange.
Quite a large Tesco and is well stocked. Parking is only free if you purchase from Tesco, so don't forget to enter your registration when going in and the parking code when coming out.
From friendly staff to a wide selection of quality products, shopping here is always a pleasure. Clean, organized aisles and an efficient checkout make for a seamless experience.
This is not about the shopping but about the cafe. Just had my breakfast brought out and asked for my money back. The hash browns were rubber and the bacon was half crispy and half raw. I did not try anything else as I did not trust it. The manager said this is how bacon cooks but it is the first time I had seen it.
Just had a apple crumble milkshake in the cafe.. More like a slushy instant brain freeze also a southern fried wrap too much barbecue sauce. BAD EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE
two idiots who take jobs for nothing, they don't know how to read or count, how the hell did they get the qualifications of idiots, I showed them the receipts from where I bought them and I die accused of stealing, I had 3 products and they look at the receipt and tell me that there is only one and I showed them how to count and they actually said there were 3
0 .!! , & . claims to be the only manager at the store for that night and the cashier keeps laughing at me and my wife as if she was on something. This is Tesco extra and we always buy by bulk but this time was refused service by cashier and was confronted by who refused to give any explanation or call the sales manager available. Instead he claimed that he is the only manager that's available for the night. , & ..! 0 . No wonder why Tesco extra has a low ratings. It's almost impossible to make a complaint.!! Shocking and Worrying.
Been to Tesco today to buy my Euros, when i arrived i asked if i could get the club card rate because my wife had one and i could get the number if required. The girl nodded and we did the transaction afterwards I noticed she did not give me the club card rate and questioned her. She said i had to have the card even though this is not what she said when i arrived and has never been the case in the past. Out of interest i checked the rate at Ramsden’s on my way back to my car and would have been 30 euros better off if i hade gone there in the first place.
Meal Deal £6 Pizza, Side and Dip shown on the same shelf, when paid on the till found out only certain products can be combined, when asked on customer service and showed them the shelf they explained can’t combine all the products from the same shelf even doesn’t show on the price labels. Ridiculous how lie people as not many would look the receipts! So disappointing how they can confuse people!
One place for your all needs from groceries, cutleries, gifts, toiletries, food, veggies, bakery, frozen food, pharmacy & what not. Must visit place before searching any other place for your need. It has plenty of parking space with full refund.
