Shopped in store terrible service wouldn’t help me out to get a trolley as I didn’t have a £1 coin had to struggle around the store with two baskets & loading my arms with items to purchase as well as other shopping bags .refused me delivery as they said I wasn’t registered with Iceland only been registered with them for years and shop weekly and they wouldn’t add me to the system or deliver for me ended up with 4 Iceland carriers no trolley was told I should of brought a corned beef tin opener key as they worked in trolleys really !! To then be given a trolley after realising I could carry it all out the shop do t recommend this store . Shame as most of the delivery staff from this store are lovely .
Fresh and cheap frozen products here. The store is quite big and the staff is friendly as well. You can get a good frozen food within 1pound. The quality and taste is great compared to the prices. Also you can find variety of chocolates and soft drinks here. Alcohol prices are reasonable as well. Eggs are not cheap nor expensive. Chips and biscuits are available at convenient prices. My experience here was satisfactory.
Ordered a few things to be delivered on a Friday got a text saying running late phoned up and got fobbed off saying it he had been and couldn't get in was the back of the house which was a lie they said next free van would send it out didn't come phoned up Saturday morning yes it was being sent out guess what never arrived, phoned up Sunday morning its on its way arrived about 1 30 that's gateshead Iceland si be prepared if you have a wait
Dont bother much with deliveries from as theres always problem, example this mornings deliverie, pack water on top bread buns, loaf bread wide open slices hanging out , sub pizas i will never eat, potatoes hula hoops defrosted and soft , different eggs i would never buy, thays what i mean about iceland.
Wednesday 20th I placed a next day delivery slot between 8-10am for a food delivery. The next morning I received a text to say it’s running late and won’t be later than 10:46. It got to half 11 and nothing. I rang the shop and the girl on the phone said I’m the next stop so it won’t be too long. Waited until 1:30pm and still nothing. Rang back and was put on hold for 5 mins to be told ‘there’s problems with the van’ and that the next slot would be 5-7pm that day with no apology. I said that’s fine but I’m leaving the house later so will it definitely be there? The girl said yes. 7:45pm and still nothing. I rang the shop and spoke to another girl who said that the delivered are 3 hours delayed due to problems, again with no apology. It’s now a day late and still don’t have my food shopping. I’ve tried ringing the store multiple times but it looks like their phone lines aren’t connecting. I’m quite shocked by how poor the service has been with Iceland and not keeping customers in the loop with what’s happening. Will not be using these again.
What has happened to Iceland deliveries? It used to be really good and never any problems but the last two times have been a disgrace. They didn’t even let me know last time that they weren’t going to deliver my online order and that left me with three hungry kids. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I placed an order this lunchtime for same day delivery. I’ve just had a phone call to say they won’t be delivering it today as one of their drivers phoned in sick, again leaving me without supplies for packed lunches tomorrow. The woman apologised but didn’t offer any solution so now I am having to drive to Iceland in Gateshead to pick up my shopping which I paid delivery for, disrupting my evening and using my fuel. Absolute disgrace!!!! I WONT be ordering from here again and I’ll be telling others not to either.
Good food freash & frozen £1.00 x2.lts milk bread x£1 Good money off offers staff REALY nice helpful also have real propper smiles when they meet you & of course a real nice hi great ting shop also dose a nice parbaked bread cornnetos 6xlarge cones bargain as they are propper tasty only thing is its hard to stop @1 cornett propper yummy great
Terrible service. There’s never any home deliveries for in store shoppers. Staff and manager are rude when you challenge them about this. They display a sign to let customers know, however, this is hand written on white paper, so it’s hardly noticeable when entering the store, especially for people with limited sight. One staff member was caught rolling her eyes at my Mam when she was getting her money from her purse as the staff member had a wait. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Awful pace!!!
Disgrace ordered online at 12.33am yesterday morning paid for same day delivery and still waiting ..went to shop this morning to see what was happening with delivery was told it would be delivered today timeslot 12.30..2.30 and still waiting cannot get through to them on phone just engaged tone then goes off ..its a bloody disgrace..my son an partner are fumming as don't know if its going to come or not.
