A standard large Tesco. Has good fresh fruit and veg in stock. There is also a home and electronic section. By the entrance there is a currency exchange. Upstairs there is a Costa. There is usually ample parking, even if it is an awkward layout. By the entrance and exit the speed bumps are excessive in size and should be tackled with care.

Used to be excellent but standards have shipped significantly. The introduction of a new barcode system several months ago which still is not compatible with their petrol pumps. Unreliable self service checkouts (particularly light items in the bagging area). Unfortunately, there is no local competition. Royston desperately needs another major store or the high street to be able to compete.

Tesco Extra Royston has a chronic fly tipping rubbish problem which the firm and suppliers need to urgently address and resolve. Either manage the recycling area properly or close it.
