Not a regular customer here but wished to look at clothes section and buy food. Found the shop quite noisy and very poor at the tills, the staff member working the till appeared to know the customer in front of us and spent an inordinate length of time talking to her, when the customer produced her phone to share photos of her family I felt it necessary to ask the staff if she could get a move on as we were wishing to get served. I believe the till next to the one we were in had served 7 customers whilst we were stuck with the very talkative till operative. I'm afraid we will not be returning anytime soon
Come here all the time and its usually fine. Tonight they had barely anything because of cleaning which is understandable but really there should be a limited stock since its going to be open for 4 more hours. Used the handhelds like normal, then the staff had to scan half our items which was more than usual and since we had a big shop took a while. My daughter forgot to scan a coke bottle ‍, so the staff member had to scan it all again but was extremely rude to us ignoring us when we asked her if she needed any help, kept huffing about having to do it and didn't say thank you any of the times we helped her by opening bags for her to see. I believe her name was Emma, just really rude.
I dread going there and only do when I'm short of time. Customers are the rudest I've ever known, bad mannered and inconsiderate of others. The staff are okay but never enough serving on customer service desk and there's always a long queue. There is a stench to the store and it never looks clean, which puts me off doing a big shop so I go elsewhere. Idiots parking in disabled bays who don't have a blue badge and cars fail to stop at the crossing points. Shopping trolleys all over the carpark and not in bays....the whole thing needs a major tidy up!
I looked on google before I went to this tescos as it states the f&f was open until 12am however it was around 10:50pm when I went and went to go upstairs and I got called “oi get down now” by a rude member of staff this tescos is a joke states f&f was meant to be open till 12am it wasn’t even 12am and it was closed won’t bother going there again would rather shop else where staff member was so rude wasn’t helpful and the attitude was disgusting.
Despite claims on their website, the store isn’t particularly wheelchair friendly. The wheelchair trolleys are shoved up the side of the cashpoint machines and b,o med in by bollards, a rubbish bin and advertising boards - it was very difficult to get the trolley out and attach it to my mum’s wheelchair and I ended up practically in the road. Inside the store, especially upstairs, several aisles were blocked with stock trolleys - room for a person with a normal trolley to get through but no access for the wheelchair trolley which is wider. I asked an assistant to move a stock trolley and she was quite dismissive. We ended up missing out several aisles because they just weren’t accessible.nOn a plus side, the lift is well-sized and efficient.
