It's alright. It's a tesco. Quite overpriced on stuff. The prices with the club card is what it should be originally. Toy section is pretty cak. There's a cool scanner thing upstairs which is pretty cool. I still ain't got catwoman from the kinder eggs . Many isles . There's a but next to the bread and cakes It's like a sushi thing, bit smelly. Got some rusks the orher week they were nice . Got a Greg's in there and a Costa I believe.nRight now on to the carpark It's good unless there's someone in your spot or some massive car parks next to you when there's about 97 different 3 spots otherwise. I could be in the middle of antartica one one for miles Park up and set up a tent a couple meters away then ad I'm coming back to the car to get my lamp there's some massive BMW motor parked next to me.nAlso massive shed thing taking up 90% of the car park . I don't know what's going on in there but I recon space horses or something, very inconvenient but I guess the bit of grass at the entrance is nice ALSO ATTACED PHOTO YOUR CHARGING AN EXTRA £1.90 FOR SOME CHOCOLATE ON ME CUSTARD CREAMS also apparently the managers also a bit of a you know what
My daughter and I went shopping on Sunday 1st March and want to say thank you to blonde Tracy on the till! She made my daughter feel really special by showing an interest in us and it was kind of her to offer extra tips about when to buy Wicked pajamas! Overall the till element seemed well managed it was thoughtful for them to open other tills without needing to be asked, to accommodate an elderly gentleman before us. I’d rate it 100% better than the customer service we get in Brentwood Sainsburys for example!
Good Tesco store with decent product availability and great opening hours.nnThe car park is of ample size and access to the store on foot, by bus or car is easy.nnThe car park paint marking and signage is not fit for purpose at the entrance of the store and this poses a safety concern - I have already raised this multiple times too.nnOtherwise the store is good and has toilets, ATM and good facilities with a Gregg's inside too. I would recommend this store to friends and family and I will definitely return.
Well done to Tesco Gallows corner. They have somehow managed to employ the rudest staff of all time. Sue. She is rude, miserable and has zero manners. I purchased 15 chocolate boxes for the hospital and 3 pringles. No where did it say any limit on the quantity you may purchase. At the tills when I'm paying she charges over woth no manners and rudely tells me the manager is watching me on camera, I am taking these 15 boxes now but if I ever come back again to buy another box of chocolates I will be stopped from doing so. Other stores are able to display a quantity limit if one exists on a product. Sue counted the number of boxes I had first then miraculously said the limit is 15. I've never bought these from here before and didn't have any intentions on buying again. However, Sue, I accept your challenge and look forward to being stopped.
One of the larger Tesco Extras in the area. Really well laid out with plenty of stock replenishing. Ample parking spots and lots of parent/child bays which makes life a lot easier for us. Only niggle is traffic around the Tesco has been appalling since the Gallows Corner closure. However won't deduct rating and no fault of their own.
