Needs some improvements here. The stock and range of products is good, but staffing levels are woeful. If you need help with anything then finding any staff member to offer assistance is hard work! Eve customer service desk is not always staffed and I was left standing there for ages. Self scan can be hit and miss as to if it works or not, but queues at the checkouts are very long because so few are actually open!
A nice place to shop, especially when the weather is wet as it's all undercover including most of the carpark, which there is loads of spaces and also has electric car charging points. It's good to go here for everything, not just food. Household, garden, clothes, shoes, pharmacy, pretty much everything. The past couple of times tho, a few of the freezers have been empty so not been able to purchase everything needed. I always use the hand held scan yourself as it's quicker and can pack your bags straight away without any messing. The staff on the checkouts are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately which is more than I can say for the workers who go round collecting the online shopping. Some of them are a bit rude and don't always move out of the way for you or block the isles when they are talking. Some items have good deals on if you have a Tesco clubcard so I would highly recommend getting one of them if you haven't already.
Excellent service & empathy from a young assistant on self service checkouts on Thurs 15th Dec. Didn't catch her nameHelped my partner at the checkout, return some items which we couldn't afford. She did this without judgement, asked a fellow shopper to use his clubcard to try & get the price lower. Wonderful lady. Thank you.
After shopping, I had the misfortune to visit the ladies' lavatories at this Tesco Extra yesterday. All 3 cubicles were deplorable - dirty, with loo paper strewn about the floor and an overflowing sanitary bin. I can't imagine when it was last cleaned! It was my first and definitely last visit.
Tesco you need to sort out your women's toilets because today they were disgusting. One toilet had a can of some kind on the floor and one had toilet paper all over the floor I didn't dare look inside. I then tried to wash my hands but found both soap dispensers empty. Don't you have a housekeeping team at your store?
Very large Tesco, located on the first floor with parking underneath. Few other shops like subway are in the ground floor
Quality food and not unreasonably priced, make sure yo get your Tesco club card plastic or use the app, love it here.
Went to phone shop today to upgrade my phone. Was helped by a lovely, polite young man called Marc who also helped me 2 yrs ago with my current phone. Had a really pleasant experience, which I had not been expecting as I know nothing about phones. Customer service at its best, well done Marc, keep up the good work and thank you.
What’s with the shady prices? I mean why is the club card price pretty much just the discount price or normal price in other supermarkets. So a lot of the smaller Tesco stores seem to be overpriced if you don’t have a club card. The bigger stores are better in this regard. I know you make approx £1billion per month in profit and we’re allowed to profit during the pandemic so don’t try and play tricks on me with that club card pricing on products, which I’m sure is confusing for a lot of people and sees them disappointed when paying more than expected at the till. We’re not stupid. Just put the normal price and discount your club card members at the till and promote your club card discounts if you want. Stop dual pricing everything. But why would you listen to me, a measly consumer haha
Prices & quality of fruit and veg are not as good as Aldis. Other than that, this Tesco’s offers a great variety and you can find almost everything you need here. Good selection of clothes for kids and adults.
