The cafe’s environment is good and the space is large enough. But the food is not at the top quality level imho. Anyway, the supermarket has a variety of options for shopping. I have got a pair of very nice cups over there for me and my wife.

If you park on Tesco carpark,you can get free parking so long as you buy something from Tesco.nBe warned though, Gateshead itself isn't a lot to do.nAbout 25 shops,and a.good 10 of them are charity shops.and hairdressers.

Using their delivery services they don’t show up during the allotted time. It wouldn’t be so bad if they actually called ahead to ask if they could come early but they don’t. Sometimes they cancel orders the day of, especially if it’s a match day. Yesterday they never showed for the delivery, never called to say why but their website kept saying I was next on their way from 8:18pm-8:48pm for the 8pm-9pm slot I booked; by 9:30pm I called when they hadn’t showed, the call centre called the manager who claimed the truck broke down but my groceries had been moved to another truck and were definitely on the way. Another hour passed so I call again. The call centre said if they aren’t there they aren’t coming because it’s almost 11pm. They wasted 3 hours of my life and never showed. All groceries stores are closed at 11pm making it impossible to even go elsewhere to get the things I need to make my now very late dinner or get breakfast supplies. Today, their website claims yesterday’s order was successfully delivered and the money was still charged to my card. I called the call centre who’s options don’t match what I need to ask and the person I spoke to is still asking me if I want it redelivered after all that, she then refunded after I refused to waste anymore time waiting on people who don’t respect my time. Then offered a £10 voucher because apparently that is all their customers’ time is worth while Tesco makes approximately 3 billion in profit this year but can’t manage a simple phone call to a customer to apologize or correct the issue. If they had been honest that they just weren’t coming from the beginning at least I could have made alternative arrangements.

Fabulous supermarket! Wide aisle and items are relatively easy to spot and well stocked unlike other supermarkets. I'm very impressed and there are pleanty of manned tills! Keep it up

Many thanks to the staff at Tesco Trinity Square Gateshead for their help when my husband was taken ill in the store on 5th Nov, immediately staff came to help us and 1st aider Leanne supported and cared for us  until the ambulance came to check him out, we are so grateful.nThanks again
