It's OK if you just need a couple of bits and can use the self service or don't mind waiting on staff to finish stocking shelves if you need someone on tills.
A handy convenience store with longer opening hours so you can get your essentials even when other shops are closed. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everything is more expensive than in the full sized Tesco, but I suppose you pay for the convenience. They have a good range although they are lacking on some basic essentials.
Obnoxious voice over on self-service checkouts is driving me insane every time I hear it. Unlike the big Tesco, there is no option to mute it. On top of that, prices are higher than anywhere else, they don't sell alcohol before 8am and the promotions don't seem to match the ones in Tesco Extra. I only shop there because it's close to my place.nnStaff is nice, so that's a plus.
Not good.nThe place is filthy and too often you get aggressive/confrontational yobs harassing people in the queue and trying to shout the odds at other customers across the shop.nnSecurity are too scared to stand up to anyone who causes a disturbance, they'd rather just let people harass loyal customers instead of doing their job.nnI've been a repeat customer for years but not anymore.
Woman at the bottom controlling queues is very rude. No clear signage of how NHS employees should make their way to the entrance skipping the queue. Upon walking past the queue to speak to the woman, she was very rude when telling us how to get to the front. Not a very good way to treat NHS employees in a time of crisis. Needs to be changed for someone who has better customer service skills.
