The supermarket is spacious and offers a wide range of products, meeting almost all shopping needs. Convenient facilities include toilets and an optician's. However, the café is currently closed, which might disappoint some visitors.
AVOID. Poor food safety and cleanliness!! If you want to risk throwing half of your shopping away then go ahead shop here otherwise spend your money elsewhere. Consistently mouldy food, flies on fresh produce in store and poor management!! Health hazard
I had a lovely shop today. Ordered in house taxi firm Hastings waited 1.5 hrs they did not turn up. I went to Custoner services where the staff really looked after me and got me another taxi. Up till then I was considering never to shop at Gorton again. I will be shopping there again. Please thank the staff on CSD
I've visit this store yesterday and I'm very impressed with the excellent customer service of an employee called Alan. He was very very kind. I've asked him about the water bottles pack of 12. He was working and seems very busy but still he left his work came all the way to the aisle where the product was. Gave me the product in my hand. He goes brother is there anything else you need help with.?? Bless him I'm like no thank you brother. This is a kind of cutomer service everyone wants. Thank you my brother Alan. I used to like this store but what annoys me is the dregs of the earth hanging around like bad smells waiting for end of day reductions. They don’t buy anything else and it’s always the same ones. Wish management would allow their regular shopper who SPEND money in the store to take advantage of them. Also will you ask parents to control their brood, some are out of hand
Limited choice for lots of things compared to similar sized Tesco's and other supermarkets. They used to have a good range of toys and games but have just changed everything and no longer carry Lego. Stupid decision. Bring back Lego. Do better.
No vodka and no substitutes on my shop Friday afternoon, for goodness sake you should be well stocked up Friday afternoon for weekend shoppers, or are the shoppers just being lazy as a driver once told me any how I cancelled the whole shop and ordered elsewhere and will do so every time this happens..
Went to Tesco at 6-30pm on sat evening I was accosted by several youths aged about 14 to 16 ,they wanted my £1 coin from my trolley when I refused I was verbally abused . The security were not taking a blind bit of notice as the youths stated targeting other people with shopping trolleys. Oh by the way I am seventy years old . Shame on you gorton Tesco .

Gorton Tesco, Strongly suggest don’t take any medical advice from staff - Li Wan, she is lack of medical knowledge and unprofessional. I went to store pharmacy asking for ear drops, she can’t give me medical suggestions and when her colleague try to help me go find the medicine, she disturbed him and told her colleague let me go to GP. First of all, I want say thank you to the gentleman, even you can’t help me in the end but I still appreciate what you did that day. I’m so disappointed about the store complain system, when I try to complain with the manager Nicola, she said the pharmacy is not belong to tesco, she can’t take the complaint, even the pharmacy lady wearing the tesco uniform! all she does is give me the complain telephone number, she doesn’t even listen to the story. She also doesn’t give me the pharmacy ladies’ name or her staff number. She said she wants to protect her staff? You said pharmacy is not belong to tesco and now the pharmacy lady is your staff? That’s make me even more angry!!! So who gonna protect customers’ rights? Excuse me??? That’s so funny, if I want to make a complaint, I don’t even have the involve person’s name or staff number, so how can I make the complaint? I have to went to the other pharmacy-Everest pharmacy and I get the ear drops from there. Their staff are very friendly , the lady listens to my request and gives me suggestions, she also mentioned it’s a very common ear drops, every pharmacy has this. All pharmacy staff can give advice depends on customer’s situation. Usually the pharmacy people are very friendly and helpful, that is my first time seen the pharmacy staff that rude and unprofessional, Ms Li should change her job, if you can’t give the people any medical advice, then you shouldn’t working in the pharmacy, you are insulting your profession!!!
