Good old Tescos Metro, with lots of parking outside on the road. Managed to get some massive bananas here - literally the size of a boomerang = five stars no brainer!

Have a very silly rule that bikes and scooters even compactible cannot be left inside the door, even by the door. There are no racks to chain them outside. But pushchairs and mobility scooters are not trip hazards apparently, which is the reason for this ridiculous rule. Will not return.
I would like to thank the manager and his staff for being so helpful yesterday. I fell over and banged my head and nose. The manager and a young girl came out straight away to clean me up and the mess on the pavement Got me a chair and made sure I was fit and able to get home. You were both very professional and understanding. Again a big thank for your help. I would like this to go to the Area Manager To show them what brilliant staff they have in Thorpe Bay
I have been using this store since the COVID-19 outbreak and am dismayed by the lax attitude displayed by certain staff members in regard to social distancing. Two weeks in a row the same member of staff unlocked the doors and then walked away without indicating whether it was okay to enter the store. After a moment's confusion and hesitation from those who were queuing outside, everybody attempted to enter the store at once.nnThis morning the same member of staff decided that they were going to have a conversation with a customer while blocking a T-junction, leaving other customers to squeeze past. If any one of us had COVID-19, we likely all have it now.nnThere is no sanitation station, as I have seen in other branches of Tesco Express.
