The staff at ongar tescos need to all go on diversity and customer service training. All look so cold , poker faces & management need to come to the store and see in person how these women in the ongar store serve customers . Give them some extra money so they can crack a smile otherwise all are a loss cause.

Lovely Tesco’s store!Very big for an express store,is extremely convenient it being attached to a petrol station and on the high street.Exceptionally clean and really well stocked!Shopped here twice once for chocolate and the next for bacon,the self check out was amazing.If you want Lipton ice tea I would recommend you go to the drinks asile nearest the till for a bigger bottle.Would highly recommend

Went to the tescos express this morning wanted to buy washing up liquid. They didn't have there own brand just a expensive  fairy max brand at £3.48. Which I didn't.  Went to BP garage & got fairy for £1.48.  What a joke..

Have you tried buying Petrol/Diesel here?  Forget it!nnWaited ages for a pump, only to find that half the pumps are pay by card, with no alternative option to pay at cashier!nnI had mistakenly chosen a pay by card pump, so I produced a bank card and it wouldn’t accept it!  Noticed other customers also having problems nnIt would be nice to see better signage on the pumps.nnDrove off and went to Shell, as I didn’t have time to queue up for another.nnHave since heard similar complaints, from other motorists!

They constantly have foods on the shelf up until their use by date, and probably beyond. An elderly relative is constantly ended up with out of date food within a day or two of purchasing it.
