Small store, limited variety of stock. I shop here as all the supermarkets in Burton are small so haven't got much choice! When it was 24hrs it gave it an edge on other supermarkets, but now all the same. Three stars is for a few helpful staff members I have encountered.
Friendly staff, good range of you're after something in particular.
I usually shop at Asda but pay visits to Tesco as they’re the only place I can find Oatcakes!

What a stingy people in the self checkout. I had smart scanner and it decided to send me for quality check. The lady came to do the scanning keep on mourning that she's been asked to scan 21 items. Clearly she's not happy with that shes been asked to do some work! I have seen quite few people with same/similar attitude. Shop manager really need to look in to this! And their own employees parking in parents children's parking. Lack of common sense with employees in this store in every aspect.
I took a prescription to the pharmacy inside Tesco at St. Peter’s Bridge today. They stated they would check if in stock. The item I was told that they did not have and try somewhere else. On asking if they could order them in for me. Was told it is a hit & miss. So didn’t even take a step, never mind an extra step. Very disappointed in the service or rather lack of ! Any future prescriptions i will use a reputable chemist. . This is no reflection on the actual store. I use this store as my only shopping venue and have no complaints at all with the store, service or staff there. So my poor star rating is only for the pharmacy.
As always, I always like to try and give businesses as much feedback as possible. Sometimes it's not always positive unfortunately! However, my partner and I shop regularly at the Burton store. I just want to say that so far all the staff in this store are helpful and courteous. However, there is one employee that I have found to go above and beyond his normal duty! NEIL is a star and I really hope Tesco appreciates his professionalism and kindness! I've run out of space now!! cheers Neil!
Tesco, is currently the best organized supermarket in town. Very organized at entrance, sensible attitude to couples, very clearly marked super easy one way system. Very clear control/queue process at till very helpful staff member at till queue to direct to available till ask questions etc. If you are in any way concerned this is the best place to shop. Still stupid people shopping, but that's not Tesco's fault they can't do more to make it safe. Thanks Tesco and your staff are amazing.

Honestly I go in to this store all the time But today was one of the best experiences I've ever had I went in to get some cow and gate powderd milk and unfortunately they didn't have any However I had already picked up everything else and only had my voucher on me It came to 30p under the voucher price and couldn't use my voucher unfortunately when I got yo the time So the guy on the self serve at around 12:30 today proceeded to run around the shop fruit and veg isle to find something for me that came to 30p I was getting quite upset due to having my little one with me that needed feeding and thinking I'm going to have to come home with nothing He found 2 oranges for me that came to 38p in total and he then paid the 8p difference So I am very grateful to the man on the tills at that time as if it wernt for him I would have gone home with nothing BTW I'm not sure on his name but thank you
