Quite busy but can move around until you reach the 2 checkouts that are open. Then there are queues. A lot of self checkouts working but hardly anyone using them as older people prefer to see a human face.
Why is the chicken in any of the Sandwiches and pastas always raw? Cook your chicken properly unless your planning to poison people. Thanks.
received a £70 parking fine for a free tesco car park in Daventry on a Sunday night. Signs are not well lit and there is no pay and display so no real loss to the company. I use Tescos often and will look to shop elsewhere. Absolute thieves.
The customer service staff are so rude. OK we had a lot of winning scratchcards for her to go through grandparents had saved them up but the attitude and moaning wasn't necessary. We were the only people at the desk so weren't holding anyone up and all we got were comments on too many cards, not enough money in the till 2 tills and plenty of cash in them, next time don't bring so many, . It took her less than 5 minutes and she moaned the whole time. A bit more service training required I think. My daughter was so embarrassed by her comments. Absolutely disgusted with the service.
Very busy on Saturday. Due to growing number of residents this store becomes too small. If you are able to, I recommend doing your shopping very early morning.
My local supermarket been visiting for 18 months at least 3 times a week. Recently the customer service has been disappointing.... a small group of staff are rude unwelcoming and definitely not suited to a role working with the public. Don't want to knock the lovely hard working staff, but this group make your visits to store a chore.
This shop is supposed to open at 6am, most mornings when i go the doors do not open till 10 past and there are always people waiting outside. At this time in the morning, there are boxes and cages everywhere. The guy in the bakery wouldnt give me a french stick even though these were all cooked and waiting to go on the shelf. The lady serving on the tills was in no hurry to stop chatting to other members of staff to serve customers. So disappointed. I will go back to using the small tesco express in Daventry on Ashby Fields. :-

Not the biggest Tesco store, which is a good thing. The fresh fruit and veg here are excellent quality and value, better than Aldi and Waitrose. The staff are also excellent, I find them very helpful, polite and real people, not a product of some training manual. The car park is always a challenge, with a lot of blind spots due to a crazy layout. Anyway, all in all a good effort Tesco.
This was an easy review after reading some of the other comments re face masks. I don't blame the staff for not insisting that customers wear masks, they're not there to be abused and or policing the store, I've witnessed the abuse first hand. The customers are the ones that should be wearing the masks and if they don't well they're at a higher risk of covid so good luck with that. Always found the staff there helpful though occasionally lack awareness but they've worked through the pandemic at a difficult job so fair play to them, security guy there deserves a mention, really good when no one was manning the self service, he asked me if everything was OK as I were looking a tad lost, and went and grabbed someone. Only downside is and I think it's out of their control but you seem to have a lot of stock cages on the sales floor, but again the pandemic and panic buying probably hasn't helped with that.
