The barriers and payment machines in these Telford Town Centre car parks need to be replaced or scrapped altogether. Often the payment machines suffer technical issues as do the barriers to enter and especially exit the car park. Machines not reading the ticket resulting in having to call for assistance from the guy sitting in the control room to manually open the barrier. Payment cards not being accepted so you cannot pay for your parking, so you are forced to find any available cash machine left in the this digital world to pay for something that should be simple.
A regular user of the Ash Grey Car park as it provides easy access to the M&S store when using the far part of the car park. That part of the car park is reached by going under the bridge to the smaller car park on the left hand side of the main car car park as you enter. The access to this car park is on the left hand side of Lawn Central , to the rear of the new Aldi store. With the reopening of non essential stores on Monday 12 April 2021 the Telford Town Centre company has put the paying system back into operation and now barriers are in place both at the entrance and exit of the car park .You collect a ticket and pay on exit at machines there is a machine near the exit from M&S and another one near the exit from Primark . Be aware that the Ash Grey Car Park is a short stay car park with a higher price in normal times. It is cheaper on Sundays with a fixed price of £1 for all the day when charging is in place. There are plenty of disabled parking spaces with about 12 spaces in each part of the Ash Grey Car park .
Perfect parking spot with loads of parking spaces - parking fee is reasonable too, Sundays whole day for a £1 or something cant fault that!!
Pay machines need some TLC they are a right state. Not the attention to detail ud expect from a multiple million pound shopping complex

What can I say. Its a car park. All machines were working to pay however cash only. One barrier on entry and exit were closed.
Lovely carpark, fairly flat with parking bays marked out.
Plenty of room here and it's protected by cctv.
Just got dropped off and picked up again Only wanted few things Very busy
