Just called in to return a product and buy some of the birthday app offers I received. Keira was on the till at the time and I have rarely experienced such fantastic customer service. She was very polite and helped me get the correct items that were on the app as it was a bit of a minefield trying to choose the correct ones. From the refund to the purchase she went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed and did it with a smile on her face. Not many businesses have such dedicated staff these days and top marks all round. My only criticism is, why send money off vouchers but fail to have stock of the item despite several visits to the store ?
Nice lady spoke to me about waterproof blankets and although they didn't have any in store she said I could order online : very helpful!
Lack of customer service and bad management handling goods. Didn't get confirmation order because staff must have never scanned my package. Enquired through LiveChat to let me know it had arrived a couple of days ago even though staff kept saying they can't do anything without the confirmation email... such a waste of my time and petrol for your incompetence.
Not been in this store but tjr staff needed basic training on the animals they sell. Asked if they had any robarovski hamsters in store and told them I had a cage which was around 80×50cm amd they told me they wouldn't sell me a hamster as my cage was two big for the dwarf species and I would need a much smaller plastic cage to keep one. I asked of she realised that dwarf hamsters are very active amd energetic animals amd need a minimum of 80×50 as a basic minimum to which o don't think she did. So sad tbeu don't have the basic knowledge for there basic care needs amd such a shame many animals are proberly been missing sold to poeple with Tony cages where the hamsters are going to be very stressed. PETS AT HOME you need to get woth the times and start putting the animals first.
Very pleased, bought a new hamster with my son & was given lots of good advice about their proper care ie space needs, avoiding wood shavings, including a sand bath, how to pick him up gently etc. The lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful & saved me 10% on the sale too. She herself handled the hamster with respect & made us wait till the hamster climbed into his transport box himself rather than forcing him in ... The 1 or 2 awake hamsters appeared very happy and confident for pet shop hamsters. Would recommend.
Great selection of pet things, they have everything you could possibly need
This is a very handy shop for all your pet needs. The staff are excellent and are always very helpful & welcoming and they put you at ease the moment you arrive in the store, all of the staff have extensive knowledge and experience of everything that they have within their store. This shop covers a lot of choices for many different animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, tropical fish and have an extensive range of foods for most animals, and medical items that you may need. The aquarium section is well stocked and the staff member I spoke to was very informative.No toilet facility.wheelchair access is available.
I walked out of your store today due to your lack of customer service. As in all stores, the management are greedily glad for people to walk in, but lack any form of consideration to the public having to queue for an age to get out of the store. I stood for what seemed like an eternity in the queue at the till like a number other people and we are expected to accept the lack of procedures to open other tills when it is a busy time. You seriously need to review your customer service policy.

Had a lovely experience here the other day. We approached a member of staff called Neva who helped us pick a new lead, harness and dog toys out for our 7mos old pup. Very friendly and helpful throughout and notably the products she recommended weren't instantly the higher end ones which we appreciated very much. She was patient with us and our boisterous pup even gave us some great general advice about our pup which we've since taken- 5 stars can't fault them.
