Taylor Rose MW have recently handled our conveyancing. The selling and purchasing processes, as appears to be the norm, were both pretty lengthy and at times stressful from our perspective. There were a few initial minor glitches, but the process improved ten fold when lines of communication transitioned from strictly written, to written and verbal between ourselves and Taylor Rose. It's only then did we get a better appreciation of how the cogs operate within their company. The team are all extremely friendly and helpful, but Natalie in particular deserves a special mention; her amiable nature and regular updates towards the end of both processes were invaluable thank you Natalie!. The few calls we had with Felicity were also good. She was honest with us regarding the potential timeline and kept her explanations clear and concise. Thank you to the entire team for all your individual contributions and assistance.
It has been a year, and they still haven't resolved this. When I called to inquire why their service levels were poor, the call was disconnected. I wasn't being rude or abusive, just questioning their lack of service. After my review, Michael contacted the solicitors handling my case to inquire about my identity, despite me providing my property address every time I called, He wanted the solicitor to ask that i removed my review!!! Glad I never as it has been over a year, and he still hasn't done his job. The matter remains unresolved, and I am considering charging them interest on the £800. As of November 14th, the issue remains unresolved. They have not yet requested permission from the mortgage lender to transfer the land, causing a delay of nearly two years. It is an understatement to say that they are incapable of doing their job. They lack basic human decency, such as responding to emails or being courteous. I wonder how long a company like this can stay in business. After I post this again, If Micheal can do the decent thing and contact the solicitor back regarding this matter, I believe both myself and the solicitor would appreciate this not dragging on anymore.
Very poor service. Forgot to tell us about stamp duty apparently I should have known about it. Im fairly sure the reason I paid a solicitor was to keep me right on the legalities if I could do it my self I'd have saved the money. It then took 15 months to register the property with land registry despite this being a normal 2 to 3 month process. No attempt to up date at any stage. I'd strongly suggest keeping away from this company for house moves they make a stressful situation far worse that it ever needs to be.
Recently used Michael for the Sale & Purchase of our properties. Very professional service even when he had to deal with difficult solicitors on the other side and problems with the land registry. Worked tirelessly to ensure we were able to move into our new property and nothing was too big of a problem. Kept in touch throughout and gave updates as to where we were. I was referred to the conveyancing team at Taylor Rose by my mortgage advisor. The entire team specifically Felicity, Angela and Natalie has been very supportive, responsive and patient through the entire process, which dragged on longer than expected. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking to engage a conveyancer. Thank you once again!
We used Taylor Rose for the sale of our property & also purchase of new recently. All in all they were OK no more, no less. I found it all depended on the person you dealt with on the level of service you got, and there never seemed to be an continuity of staff dealing with your case. Our Solicitor was Felicity who seemed good in the 1 conversation I had with her through the whole process, but that was it, otherwise we never dealt with her it was various other staff. We were at a crunch point in our move having issues trying to tie in both moves & I was simply asking for certain questions to be asked of the other parties in the chain regarding completion dates and the staff I was dealing with were really not proactive or helpful at all, quite simply acted as a letter box & passing copy & pasted emails back and forth not adding any value whatsoever which was incredibly frustrating when in the midst of it all trying to get moved. Credit to a lady there called Natalie who was really good & the only 1 to seemingly genuinely try to help out. Also we had some searches funds to be refunded for a move that fell through, and it took some 6 months & a ludicrous amount of chasing all of which went totally unanswered by Taylor Rose to get this money back. All in all got the job done, mixed bag of staff, I wouldn't say to avoid, but I also wouldn't give a glowing endorsement for.
