Almost two months ago I asked this company to perform a very simple task for me. They hold the deeds for some land which I own and I needed them to check a detail. It seems that this simple task was far too difficult for this company to perform as despite numerous one-sided conversations with the company's answering machine and very rare conversations with staff  including management  no-one has thus far checked the deeds. I'm wondering if they are lost or have been handed to someone to whom they should not have been given. I have now resorted to telephoning the company every day, requesting an answer or update to my initial query but no-one able to give me answers is ever available to speak to me and the promised return  calls never materialise. I would advise anyone to think very carefully before using this company. Perhaps I am being very daring at saying such things about a firm of solicitors due to thoughts of charges against me, but I have only stated the truth.

I have used the Whitehaven, Workington & Cockermouth branches of Brockbanks & my experience has been positive.  They have worked hard for me. If I need a solicitor in the future I will be using them again. William Graham.

Would give less than 1 star if I could . Nothing but cowboys. Quoted me a specific price after a court appearance then added over £120 on the quoted price. Would not accept their quoted price and promising court action to recover the excess money above the quote that I refuse to pay.. avoid at all costs

I would like to personally thank Claire Kirkpatrick and her colleagues for all there hard work in dealing with my case and a big thank you to the excellent work done by jack troupe  barrister  he was absolutely outstanding in his work and getting the correct result even though he spoke about a chicken going round a farm yard lol so from me my wife and family thank you very much once again for your work I would certainly recommend brockbank solicitors very professional in there work

One of the worst solicitors i have every had the misfortune to encounter, rude and unprofessional at every turn.
