This Thai place has been going for very long time. Food is ok but a bit pricey fir this location. Decor could get a new touch.
Good food and good service You will feel relax so much : I will come back again Green curry very good favor In menu not have omelet but they do for me.
Delicious food, good atmosphere. I would say an average Thai restaurant. close to tube station.
Had some take away 3-4 years ago, we didn't like it. We tried again recently and we found the food to be amazing. We ordered 3-4 few times for the past month, mainly curries but other dishes too, and the food was really really good. The girl at the bar is quick/effective and friendly. Can't wait for next time.
No mango sticky rice when I went there but pretty good tapioca balls and dessert
I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and had no problems, until this Saturday. The food was great but the waitresses staff really rude. During our meal we requested a jug of water, but we were only allowed to have a glass. After eating our meal there was a long period of time were the empty plates where left on the table, I had to ask for these to be removed. Not one waitress came over to check if we were happy with our meal or if there was anything we required. Considering the restaurant was not that full. When we requested the dessert menu there was roughly about 5 items you could choose from, however, nothing on the menu available, apart from ice-cream. When the bill arrived they had added on Service Charge which we refused to pay as the service was so bad. The waitress then went into a rant and rave in the restaurant in front of other diners shouting out that "she will pay the service charge herself and from the moment we came into the restaurant we were trouble" As I was dining out with family members who are all black I found that statement really out of order. I found this totally ridiculous as we were not refusing to pay the bill we were just refusing to pay the service charge as it was so poor. Which as a customer it is in our right to do so. What ever happened to the customer is always right!
Just left the restaurant. Honestly I've never met more rude staff in my life, and they insist on adding a mandatory service charge. The staff are rude, lazy, and act as if your wasting there time just by being in the restaurant. The food is good but not worth the price. I've been to this restaurant on three different occasions giving them the benefit of the doubt that everyone has off days and every single time it was the exact same experience and despite living just down the street I won't be back again. The experience of the staff being so incredibly rude is enough for me to stay far far away. Go elsewhere if you want nice food with a nice atmosphere.
We came here and had the lunch rice and noodle specials after a memorable meal here many years ago. Good service and food. Their supermarket around the corner on Chepstow Road also sells some good takeaway food and quality ingredients. Happy to come back again to the restaurant next time we're in the area.
I would give the food and decor 5 stars but the service was so terrible I can only give it two stars. Really rude waitress, I almost walked out right after we ordered. Then the food came at different times - my husband's food showed up about 5 minutes before mine, then I was served my curry but without the rice. The rice is made in a giant pot so there's really no excuse for the rice not being served with the curry. There were lots of Thai people so clearly the food is authentic, but too bad the service ruined the experience.
My flatmate ordered Pad Thai shrimp, and i ordered roast chicken. When served the roast chicken, I immediately noticed the poignant smell... it smelt really bad as if it was spoilt given they marinade in coconut milk Giving them the benefit of the doubt- I tasted it anyway- and of course... it was off. The 2 ladies/staff were so rude when I informed them about this, and told them to taste it for themselves. Unsurprisingly, they even spat out their bite of the chicken after having tasted it. I had to ask for a refund. Honestly it was such a terrible experience. 9 pounds for half a spoilt roast chicken. I went to waitrose after that and get a decent one for less than 4 pounds. My flat mate had his padthai, it was so oily and sweet he couldn’t finish it.
