Taunton RFC, home of the Taunton Titans, has long been established as one of the premier rugby clubs in Somerset.

Story

Taunton RFC facilities at the Comms Plus stadium are of the highest quality and we rate amongst the very best in the area when it comes to watching rugby.

Our semi-professional Taunton Titans are the premier team in Somerset, and the only side in 2012/13 playing National League rugby in the County

The Second XV (United) play in Somerset Premier and the Third XV (Wanderers) compete in Somerset II South.

The Amateur squad is run by level 3 coach Mark Hawkes and managed by Russell Gibson, Eddie Cooper and Ben Goddard. There is always a friendly welcome for any player who wishes to join the club.

Training for the Amateurs is every Thursday from 7pm. Ring Ben Goddard, 07876 798702, to talk in more detail or email [email protected].

A strong Veteran's side has been established and has a number of fixtures throughout the year.

The Colts have produced a host of players for the Amateur and Titans and are considered one of the strongest teams in the county.

Every Sunday the club is packed to bursting with the many youth teams competing on all 3 pitches.

Whatever your age, whatever your ability come and play for us. If watching is your thing, then come and watch us!

Me & my new bride had are wedding down the Rugby club what can I say but amazing, the venue looked stunning the food was out of this world & nothing was to much trouble I wouldn’t of wanted to be anywhere else the whole team was fantastic but Pat’s enthusiasm & attention to detail is second to none we was overwhelmed so thank you so much you made are day so special I’d certainly use the club again

Great place for watching rugby. Staff friendly and helpful. Good bar selection and the Carvery is fantastic.
My partner & I went to an event here recently, and it was only when I got to the bar, that I realised, or was told that they don't accept cash, and are card only. At this point, having paid £50 per ticket, I was kind of held to ransom, and had no choice to purchase drinks from them, as the nearest alternative was the local Aldi half a mile away. Nothing wrong with the venue itself, although the food was a liitle sparse, but notably, they had a rugby ball with a slit in for staff tips. Try as I might, my card wouldn't work on that, and I am damned sure you won't be getting any more of my hard earned cash unless you change your ways.
Was here for a conference. Excellent site and so easy to get to off the M5. They do good food service and free WiFi
Had the work Christmas party, excellent food really good considering it's large group of people, great bar staff and good band, why go anywhere else?

People were very friendly and bar prices reasonable. Good car parking toilets were clean. Excellent match day carvery lunch. Popular for meetings and family functions.
