I needed to book two off peak returns from Taunton to Guildford with reserved seats in the Quiet Coach both going and returning on specific dates. Christine sorted out the tickets and the reservations, gave me advice about the super off peak return restrictions and was just so friendly and helpful to me. Outstanding service - well done Christine!
Not a bad little station not big like some. The London and Cardiff trains stop on platform 2. Nice big clean toilets and a waiting room. Cafe as well. Barriers to get out the station.
Trains delayed then cancelled due to storm. They ran out of coaches so organise taxis for everyone. Understandable but what a shambles.
Tried to jib the train but i didnt runaway, unlike my good friend, and i got a hefty fine for it. Not to worry, as I live in a monastery, known as Jakob House, so i stole some money from the donations pot, and paid off my fine. Phew!
My good experience of the exemplary behaviour of the staff at this station make me wish I worked here. Immaculately clean and tidy, efficient and polite.
