Booked for the Winter lights experience Great run up to Crowcombe Heathfield with light displays on the way of deer, Christmas trees and naughty elves. Short story about Somerset elves is great for the little kids. Top Tip 1 try to get an even numbered seat, the displays along the track look better from this side. Top Tip 2 Go back and watch the train from a distance such as at East Combe or coming into Bishops Lydeard Station.Yoy really get to appreciate the lights on the train Top Tip 3 Take some snacks and a flask of hot chocolate for the train.Makes or all more real.

Absolutely loved our journey.  Thank you to everyone involved with this railway.  We had such a wonderful time.

We went from here on the Santa Express on Saturday 4th December. A well run stream train service and the kids got to meet Santa and received a gift and a cookie each. A lovely experience and very well run.

Visited the winter lights train tonight. Absolutely fantastic. What a beautiful trip. The organisation was spot on. Highly recommended trip. Thank you to everyone at the railway.
