Staff were very cold and rude. Spoke to female worker who ignored me except to get my cash, then proceeded to hide away in the back. When food was ready male member of staff gave me food and then just walked away just as rude. Food was OK better than Aroma. However Aroma staff are much warmer to customer presence. In 2 minds to look elsewhere. Why buy a customer facing business if you don't want to work with customers.
Ordered from here loads of times and are never disappointed, the food is always hot and tasty, the staff are friendly and polite. On the odd occasions where something has been wrong with our order it has been corrected quickly and with no fuss. I honestly couldn't ask for more.
We always get from here, but never again… chips were refried we asked for no mushrooms in curry it was full of them we also got the shredded beef on ok sauce might as well have been a celery which I hate sauce, asked for no peppers had jalapeños in it… the rice was dry… I give it 0out if 10 it was that bad….
Good good though setting area whilst waiting is pretty bare. Food hygiene rating is 2/5 even though the rating on the door shows 5/5. Stats deducted for not being honest with hygiene rating.Food: 3/5
Poor food after over an hour waiting. Chicken was rubbery, noodles salty and Cantonese sauce like gravy. Normally very good but all went in the bin so won't be using again. Don't know what's happened but all the recent reviews on just eat mirror the above.
Been using this Chinese for years. We moved house and tried a few others but have gone back to taste of China. I appreciate everyone has different tastes but I've not had a bad meal. It does sometimes taste different depends on the chef, I guess? but always hot and yummy. When we order with different friends, they're always impressed too.
By far the best Chinese takeaway in Doncaster,I drive from the other side of town to collect from here. Great tasting food. We did order from here when we lived closer and it has always been fantastic
I normally buy from taste of China once every two weeks and never had a problem, was happy with the food but now the minimum charge has gone up and the portions of egg fried rice are a lot smaller now and so are the sweet and sour bean curd portions. I'm gonna buy from somewhere else now, oh and one last thing the new receptionist is horrible she needs to cheer up, bring back the previous receptionist she always had a happy sound in her voice I'll give ya another go in a couple months x
Always had good food and service. Ordered NYE 2020, was so disappointing, it spoiled an already weird night. Chicken balls were rubbery and flavourless, King Prawn Kin Poh had 5 prawns and served in side dish container, crispy chilli beef, beautiful but served in side dish container. Time to look around
Awful ! Everything greasey starting from the pancake rolls. Singapore vermicelli tasteless, not even seasoned. Crispy beef an insult, 6.50 for a container full of onions and carrots with just over a dozen crispy beef strips !!! King prawns and black bean was bland and prawns overcooked and chewy.....plus the delivery guy just walked straight up and handed me the bag. First and last time customer.
