Been going to the Westwood for nearly 20 years now, so I think it’s fair to say my review is not simply based on a single visit. Absolutely love this place, the food, the staff, the friendly welcome we receive as friends rather than simply clients. This year my grown up kids, who are now spread around the country, are devastated that we have not arranged the yearly family get together, mainly I think because they are missing out on the Westwood curry! I’m still fortunate enough to go on a pretty regular basis . Would 100% recommend a visit, you may also be writing a similar review in 20 years time!
Reading some of these 1star reviews, I believe they are from rival eateries trying to mar this business so they’ll lose customers and some are reviewing the completely wrong restaurant. We were here tonight 8 of us 4 adults, 4 children This is our 4th visit We were warmly greeted and shown to our table by a lovely member of waiting on staff. We were asked if we would like some drinks, they were served promptly by a lovely member of waiting on staff. Our order was taken around 10 minutes after sitting down and was served within around 30 minutes by a lovely member of waiting on staff. All the food was of an excellent quality, presented beautifully and by really lovely members of waiting on staff. We were welcomed, seated, served with drinks and food and had a really lovely nearly couple of hours and would highly recommend visiting. In regards to the negative reviews, Put it this way, when we arrived at 5pm it opens at 5pm there were only us and 4 other people seated, when we left at around 6.45pm, IT WAS PACKED !!! Food and service can’t be that bad can it !! Loads of free parking Bring your own alcohol All in all, we had another lovely meal here at Westwood East and will always eat here as a treat because it’s always excellent Vegetarian options: Nice amount of choice Kid-friendliness: Great for kids with a good selection of meals for them Parking: Plenty of free parking Wheelchair accessibility: There would be no issues getting a wheelchair in and out of the restaurant
First time here, I enjoyed myself very much will go back again. Went for my 32nd birthday with family and we enjoyed it there, had a good laugh with each other and the staff. The place is amazing, very clean and eye catching. The staff are very nice, friendly and can have a laugh with them. The food is very rich and delicious, you will enjoy every bite and the drinks are refreshing. Highly recommended. Give them a try!
Went here a few weeks ago as part of a party. Service was amazing and we couldn't ask more fron the staff, however, 14 of our party was very poorly the next day which wad a bit of shame reallyFood: 1/5
The best thing is you can take your drinks there. They don't serve alcohol. Not very expensive. The nan is soft. But curry's are avarage
Don't knock it until you've tried it yourself. Went there recently with work and we were well looked after. Food was on point, service was fantastic. The owner himself kept checking to make sure we were being taken care of. I do recommend this place especially for team nights out.
Westwood East is a fantastic example of Bangladeshi cuisine. The fish pakora is light and flavoursome, the lamb chops are tender and buttery. The venue can cater for large groups and can easily accommodate weddings or large family groups. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and will advise you on the best food to suit your personal tastes.
Been many times, always great food and service, at a good price. Can take your own alcohol, so save with that too! Now in lockdown have had takeaways via Uber Eats and have always had great meals.
I rarely give one star, but this was by far one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. Food was discusting, waiters were rude+ I had to wait for 45 min just so they could take an ORDER! Do not recommend this place.
One of the best curries I have had. Naan bread amazing had to order another couple. Will be there again soon!!!
