Very good for a local Turkish Restaurant & the best I have come across in South London. However, does not come close the standard on Green Lanes in North London, in terms of quality, portion size & service. Also extremely bizarre that the do not serve Turkish tea & charge for bread, this is not the norm.

Lovely variety of food, between 4 of us, we started with cocktails, then had 6 starters to share and then the mixed grill between us with a bottle of house red. Can't fault any of it. Great service too. Immediately greeted and made to feel welcome : great evening

First time trying this restaurant and will 100% return. We shared a mixed platter starter between 3, the choices were delicious and varied. For a main I had the chicken and lamb mix, both meats were cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly, attentive, and the food came out in perfect timing. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous, fresh flavoursome food. We are vegetarian, and they have enough options for vegetarian. We had lots of dishes and drinks and everything was delicious, from drinks to starters,  mains and desserts! Ambience, service and staff are great! Highly recommend.

We happened upon this place & had such delicious meal here! The service was personable and friendly to interact with. Beautiful interior. Not many options for non-meat eaters as Turkish food is meat centric. The fish was the best I’ve had in london.

First time we have been since the refurbishment and expansion, glad they kept the soul of the place though. Great food, well cooked by chef's who clearly take pride in what they do. Six of us today for a birthday meal, everyone happy with their food which is a rare thing, massive portions, great starters and wholesome mains. I seriously won't be happy until I have tried everything on the menu...

One of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve been to, even compared to the ones in central London. We got the mixed grill platter for 4-6 and with 6 of us there were even leftovers. The dessert called kunefe is a must try, so buttery and syrupy - never had anything quite like it. I love baklava but this may be my new favourite. Tas is always a busy spot so make sure to book in advance.

Very good Turkish restaurant. The hummus with the fresh bread is just amazing. I could eat only that. The plate for 2/3 to share is massive and you hardly finish it in 3 people. I've tried few times the lamb cutlets and they are so succulent. Highly recommended. They have some decent wines and beer efes is nice and cold. Good service too...  Best local in the area.

I'll start by saying how tasty the food was: very delicious, well portioned - wow. Then there's the lovely interior: well finished with a great layout. The waiters we dealt with were engaging & helpful and stuck around like they had time for you. 4 stars because I can only fault that they don't have non-dairy milk.

Meet section is literally flawless. Especially beef is very tender and juicy. Prices are a little bit high but reasonable. My favourite was Liver. It was very delicious, odourless and well seasoned. Side dishes very delicious.  They don’t serve Turkish tea which is a real must for an Turkish restaurant.  They change plates and cutlery after appetisers.  Their restrooms are very clean and they use nice smelled honey soaps.  Why three stars? Food arrives very late. Very late. It seems pretty elite restaurant but made us pack our take away by ourselves.  With dessert, baklava, I saw my friend doesn’t has a spoon and I asked for a spoon to a waiter. They showed my spoon and said there is a spoon. I was shocked. Really? My friend spoke up first saying it is for me please.  Overall it is a great restaurant but they can be better.  Best wishes
