If you are looking for a porta loo company to hire from or service your own portable toilets, DON’T CHOOSE TARDIS, look somewhere else. This company is a rip off with incredibly poor customer service. You may as well throw your money down the toilet you want cleaned, unless you are prepared to be on site when they come and oversee the whole service to make sure they do it properly. I had two toilets for which I paid up front to be services and all I got was two new toilet roles and a dose of blue die. The units were not cleaned or emptied properly, no water was added to the sinks, bins were left with rubbish in them and all in all a totally unsatisfactory job. I was not present when my service was carried out but a couple of days later, when I inspected the toilets, I was not happy. I immediately called to complain and I was told by the manager, Tony, that he would come and have a look. Sure enough he called me back the day after my call and agreed it was a poor job. He said he would have a word with the person concerned and re do the job. After a week it had still not been done, so I called again. Tony said that he had not forgotten, but due to the very cold weather they could not send out the equipment needed to do the job as it was freezing up (fair enough). I then called again after Christmas and was informed that Tony was no longer working for Tardis, so I spoke with Mark Westly, the new manager. He said he did not know anything about it and would look into it and get back to me (13 January 2011). Surprise surprise, no phone call from Tardis. I called AGAIN. This time Mark said, you’ll have to talk to someone at head office called Jon. I called head office and explained the situation to Jon, who didn’t know anything about it!!!!, (are you getting the picture yet?) but said he would look into it and get back to me. Time passes and I hear nothing. I call Jon again, reminded him of who I was as he didn’t remember, but did say he had tried to call me (bit fishy if you couldn’t remember who I was - and there were no messages left on my answer machine). Anyway, he said he would talk to one of the directors. A little later I had a call of some bloke who referred to himself as Dave (director?), who said that (can you guess?) HE DIDN’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!. And that because he didn’t know anything about it, he would not honor our agreement to service my toilets properly for the price agreed. When I tried to complain he hung up on me. So be warned. Avoid this company like the plague.
