Kevin and all staff were so good in helping us through such a difficult and sad time and I can’t thank them enough. The service and Harbour View was a lovely setting for a sad farewell to a loved one and I couldn’t have wished for better for someone so loved, I also recommend the tappers florist for my mums beautiful flowers. Many thanks and so appreciated Lisa Downton & Family "},{"text":"Following the unexpected death of my mother, from the first phone call from Tappers with a lovely lady called Joanne Keefe, the support, warm understanding, caring and kindness we have received to guide us through this difficult and emotional time has made it something to cherish rather than dread. Jo helped us with the official bits very sensitively and worked hard to make sure that all our Mum’s and our wishes were accommodated, including putting us in touch with a wonderful celebrant, Steve Richards. Steve took so much time to get to know my Mum through us and was able to capture the very essence of her through his words at her service. He really has a gift for helping people through one of life’s most difficult times. We received so many messages from friends and family who all felt it was a wonderful tribute to Mum. From the first phone call I made, Steve Richards was a port in a storm, guiding me carefully with warmth and humour through the very difficult process of arranging my husband's funeral. He was available whenever I needed him, anticipated everything and took any last minute changes I made in his stride. He teamed me up with Neil McCain as the celebrant, showing a great understanding of what I was looking for and needed. Neil took all the time necessary to get a sense of our family and my husband, and completely assuaged any concern I may have had that a stranger was so involved in such a personal service. His led the service with great warmth and thoughtfulness. Harbour View is a beautiful and calming location and our family are extremely grateful to have had Tapper, Steve and Neil to guide us through this time."},{"text":"I can’t thank tappers enough for all they done for arranging my nans funeral , Sadly we had a bad experience from another funeral directors , which caused a lot of upset , my mum made a very distressed call to Tappers at 5pm one eve to see if they could help and the lady my mum spoke to was lovely , told my mum she would get Allen Gibbs to call us first thing in the morning , Allen called before 9 and from the set off he had such a warm friendly manner so understanding , and sympathetic , he explained fully what he could do and that he was happy to take it over . His reassurance, and kindness put us at ease straight away and he took over arranging my nans funeral and everything from then on went smoothly , nothing was too much trouble for Allen , was always willing to help answer any questions or make any changes . We were so grateful to him for all he done . Harbour view was beautiful place and my nan got the send off she deserved . Highly recommend Tappers .
