The food at this restaurant is perfect in my opinion I loved every course, and the portions were very generous. I came here with a large group and their was very little to no food left by anyone and everyone else seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I can't really comment on the prices as we split a group bill but seemed very reasonable for the amount of us. I will be returning. Vegetarian options: As an Indian restaurant it caters alot for people with a vegetarian diet as all their main dishes have the choice of vegetarian. Parking: The road outside the restaurant has ample parking spaces either side. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the restaurant is on flat ground and the inside is all flat including the toilet and ample space to move a wheelchair inside.
Food was nice enough, but very expensive for what it is and the delivery system is atrocious! Order placed online on their own website at 1830, promised within 40 minutes. Called at 1950 to chase and promised it was ‘out for delivery’. Took until 2030 for the delivery to arrive and food was lukewarm at best. 2 hours for a delivery <2.5 miles away is a shocking way to run a business!
To be honest true food is amazing, the service is also amazing but be careful when your order got because it’s hot
Very nice restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Highly recommend.
Tandoori Nights never fails to impress. May seem slightly more than the average takeaway but is well worth the money. It's family friendly and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you get a good service. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.
We visited Stonehenge and wanted to have dinner on the way to the hotel. My boys wanted to have some butter chicken and naan bread, so we found out this restaurant from Google. A total dissapointment with the visit to this restaurant. Firstly, the food was not authentic and they were clearly made for the British pallet. Food was below average, not hot enough and for the price the main course portion was like a starter portion. The butter chicken we ordered had no connection to the authentic recipe, it had even coconut in it. When we asked about this, we were told that it was chicken korma with some butter on it. Butter naan was so hard, the lamb biryani was like ghee rice, the starters were not cooked properly. To conclude, this is not Indian food by any chance. If you are from India or if anyone wanted a proper Indian meal THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The staff were very friendly.
Very good service, food of high quality, large portions, also will do milder or hotter ,various things added or removed at the customers request. The building is very old and listed, but some of the walls hand painted by an Indian artist which are very impressive. ...
Day light robbery avoid at all costs. Curry was OK but when the bill came VAT was on top. They added VAT to the menu and it was not explained. Total bill for 2 was £82 +VAT Just lost some local custom.
Absolutely fantastic food and kind efficient service been my go to for Indian cuisine.
This is one of those curry restaurant you come across by accident. We were fishing in the area for a couple of days and decided have dinner at this restaurant. Being Monday the venue was a bit quite but we were welcomed with a smile a big smile and directed towards our table. We were served by an elderly gentleman who we nicked name Cha Cha uncle in south Asian dialect. He was chatty and told us the history of the restaurant …. also noticed a few photos of late Terry Wogan enjoying his curry here. The food that were served to us was genuinely very good. The fish curry was exceptionally good. They say, no one cooks a fish curry better than a Bengali and the saying certainly lived up to the expectation. We had ordered other dishes too and they were all sinfully tasty and flavoursome. You know you go to curry houses and all the dishes taste the same, because the chef uses the same sauce base for every dishes. Here, that was not the case, each individual dish taste different as it should do and we enjoyed our dinner and the evening immensely. We had a local friend who had never had a chance to visit the restaurant but after this he said he was going to visit the place regularly and also bring is family and friends to it. Our hats off to all the staff especially to Cha Cha for making our evening so enjoyable and our sincere compliments to the chef. We would like to come here to taste this again. Splendid! simply splendid!
