By pure luck we have discovered this great Indian restaurant when were staying in New Forest lodge last weekend. We were warmly welcomed right from the beginning and well looked after during our dinner. The food was delicious. 10 out of 10 to the chef! The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The opening times are Tuesday to Thursday from 5 pm to 10 pm. Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm to 10:30 pm. Sunday from 5 pm to 9:30 pm. Monday is closed. The car park just outside of the restaurant. They have also tables outside weather permitting of course!. We have spend great time there and definitely recommend it!

A large Indian Restaurant situated just off the main Salisbury - Southampton road. Plenty of parking. No booking required when I visited early on a Friday evening. We had a table for 5, overall the quality of the meal was disappointing. For example, lime soda was a small glass of soda water with a dask of lime cordial. No fresh lime or ice in sight. The lamb tikka masala sauce was good, but the lamb was tough and difficult for our elderly guest to eat. The Haryali chicken was also cooked too long and was on the dry and chewy side. Garlic naan was plain naan with perhaps a small amount of garlic butter applied it was difficult to tell as the naan was not moist and I am not sure the garlic taste didn't originate from the main dish. Onion bhaji was ok as were the poppadoms and pickles. Overall, lots of staff but disappointing food, at least for those menu items we chose. Kid-friendliness: Child portion was available
Good food Tandori mixed grill is very good but add a vegetable curry to make it great full of flavour
Delicious, and when I asked for something to be made mild, it was still very flavourful yet not too sweet as happens sometimes with mild food. Everything tastes like it is made just right, and well balanced. Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian options. Parking: Decent size parking lot.

Really enjoyed our visit. Had been out all day with the family. We were all hungry. Given the time it was really quite and food arrived nice and quick. It was delicious. Not a single reason to moan. We then had pudding and some drinks. Everything went well and by the time we left several more tables had arrived. We left some items by mistake but one of the staff ran out to us with them, which was really nice. Definitely would recommend.
We attended on Friday, 29/4/22 The staff were attentive, super friendly, the food was fast and tasty with a menu deviating from the 'local' Indian with a range of dishes. Unfortunately my partner, youngest child and I, whom all described out intolerance to gluten and lactose, got quite poorly. From our experience it seems to be a lactose contamination although we are not certain. We were really clear, the staff helped us pick from the menu around these things but their must have been a considerable amount of contamination because the sickness was not mild. As such, we have to give a 1 star.
