Do not order from here!! 3 of our family had food poisoning last weekend and I’ve checked the food hygiene rating which was rated 1 three weeks ago! Disgusting!
Was expecting the food to take an hour, ended up being delivered one hour thirty minutes. Order finally arrives and they've left out a whole meal, salad and chips, so now having to wait a further 30 minutes for food - the babies tired, I'm starving - just an overall bad experience. 10 out of 10 would not recommend. I'd upload a picture of my food but I'm still waiting for it to arrive.
We always get our curries from here and they are always fab. Good prices and so tasty. Naans are big too. Definitely recommend.
Fancied a change and was very happy with the value for money very nice curry and so was my wife. Nan bread like a tea towel in size. Will definitely visit again... I always collect so as its easy and cannot complain about it being cold lol
Absolutely banging. Called in as we were passing and a friend told us it was nice. We’re from Worksop but will be driving to tandoori hut from now on! Worth every penny!
Very nice freshly cooked curries. If you collect you can see the food being expertly prepared before your very eyes. It is very busy so there is usually quite a waiting time, I would much rather eat from a busy place though.
Really disappointing. Before I get into my review properly, I'd like to say that my food was delicious. It's only fair to tell the truth before you tear into a takeaway. I called the Tandoori Hut earlier to place an order, only to be told that I couldn't pay by card over the phone and that I could only order on Just Eat. HERE THE PROBLEMS START. We hate ordering ordering over Just Eat they supposedly charge the restaurant more, which is why we call to order direct. Which makes it even stranger that the restaurant wouldn't take payment over the phone, to be frank. I specified over the phone that my wife's order was to be not spicy AT ALL before I was told that I needed to pay by card on Just Eat. When I was told I would have to go through Just Eat I said that I had specified before that I wanted a mild dish on Just Eat and that the request had not been fulfilled, I was reassured that if I put it in the special request section that the request would be followed. Fast forward 1 HOUR 45 MINUTES to when the food arrived. My wife surprise surprise has a very spicy Chicken Saag. Absolutely unbelievable. What is the point of having a special comments section if the request is not listened too? I'll be honest, I'd have been a lot more reasonable with the man on the phone who I spoke to, to complain, if we hadn't waited nearly 2 hours for our food to come. If you can't deliver food within the hour then it's quite simple. Hire more staff/purchase a bigger premises OR take less orders on. Its fairly black and white. Or at least take the time to call and say that the order would be delayed. My phone number and email address was on the just eat order. Honestly it was a shambles. If you want a tasty curry, and once again, mine was delicious, then by all means go to this curry house. If you don't want to wait just under 2 hours after ordering something specific, then this isn't the place for you. See below photo if you can be bothered. No spice is fairly self explanatory. Given this place a few chances, no more.
Best food for miles and just 50 meters from a traditional village pub is a bonus waiting for your food to be ready having a pint
