Our new favourite place to have lunch and be by the beach In Cornwall. Me, my wife and 4 kids actually there 3 days out of our holiday for Lunch. Service was outstanding. They even catered for my fussy little eater. Hopefully we will be back in August. Parking was only £6.50 for a full day. The crab sandwich and coffees are amazing. Kid-friendliness: Adapted food for fussy eater Parking: Limited spots, but you can park up the road
Beach side cafe down a steep narrow road. Serving food and snacks. Outside tables and little sheds to sit in too. Lovely in the summer sun. Had mango & passion fruit ice cream and homemade chocolate topped tiffin. Delicious.
Absolutely stunning beach!- walk down nearly killed me- but the tea and cake at the bottom made it worth while! Well worth a visit, but if hiking isn't your thing, take the car!Food: 5/5
Small beach but quaint, very rocky at first, very dog friendly, didn’t eat in cafe looked like a good menu but like everything it was pricey, not loads of parking either go early in the day or for a drink in the afternoon if you want to park on the car park, kids loved it, pram friendly as there’s a ramp down to the beach, lots of coastal walks around it.
This cafe can be found towards the end of the coastal path from Looe to Pollerro, being literally on the beach. I had a stake pasty which was surprisingly good and a shrimp sandwich which was nice and fresh. Local cafe that serves ice creams as well, a range of pasties and sandwiches, plus some summer gear.Food: 3/5
I'm going to ignore the parking and car issues and just say Talland bay is a fantastic little beach. The cafe was well staffed with a polite smiling team. It was clean inside and out and the surprise of the day was the frozen gooseberry yoghurt that was as awesome as any ice-cream I've had. Go and have a great time.
Great beach cafe, we all had the Cornish pasties 3 steak, 1 veggie and they were the best pasties we had eaten all week whilst on holiday. Staff was lovely and friendly and were very accommodating in my need for boiling water to warm my baby’s bottle. My older son happily munched on a chocolate brownie which he said was delicious. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pasty was amazing!
Really nice bay with great cafe and plenty of coastal walks! BrillFood: 5/5
Would like to review the beach but its just a cafe apperently... So here goes. Cafe is nice, prices are reasonable for the area with nice selections of cakes, teas and pasties etc. Pasties were £4.50 so average for the area. Seating and toilets are available, nothing is rushed here. The beach is great but today it was missing sand, seems the last few tides have stripped it away and dumped loads of Kelp everywhere. Was fun trying to get over mounds of seaweed though. The rock pools are epic, dozens everywhere, crabs, starfish, shellfish and anomies are easy to spot. Rocks are not smooth so it's easy enough to scramble over. Small sandy stretch in the centre at low tide, not fine sand, more small stones but good enough to build a sand castle... Wonder what it's like when the tide has not removed half the beach. There is a stream running down the beach which you can jump easily or have more fun and dam up. Parking is reasonable but try higher up on the lane for free. Vegetarian options: Vegan Pasties. Kid-friendliness: Jam sandwichs... Who needs anything else with kids. Parking: Very close by or just up the road. Reasonably priced. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat area outside... No access to cafe but staff will accommodate.
Great little beach cafe. Friendly staff and lovely food and ice cream. Perfect for a day on the beach. Car park very small so get there early. £6 all day. If main beach a bit busy, try the one next door. Great for snorkeling.
