Nice little place. £6.50 for cream tea with 2 scones. They were light and tasty, as was the cream and jam. Can sit outside and watch the world go by. Owner very friendly, would happily come again.
We had a nice pot tea and the scone, cream and jam was lovely. The staff were friendly and polite It was nice to find such a quaint little place to eat. And it even had a public toilet. I look forward to going back next time I'm in Cornwall.
Paid £7 to park to specifically come here for a cream tea. Only to arrive, and its closed. They could have at least updated their opening times on here to let people know before they travel.
Disappointing vegan options... Despite having several vegan options on the menu, they were very disappointing. My wrap was tiny with very little filling and about 3 nacho chips. I ordered a vegan scone with cream and jam and was told upon it being served that they didn't have any vegan cream and just gave me spread instead. I doubt this would have happened if I'd ordered a regular cream tea and they'd run out of cream! I appreciate places offering vegan options but don't appreciate a 'get what your given' attitude when you're paying the same price as non vegan options. If I'd known there wasnt any vegan cream then I understandably wouldn't have ordered cream tea... it very much felt like vegan options were an afterthought here without much effort being put in.
Pleasent friendly service. Lovely cream tea, coffee and scones. So yummy I wanted 2nds.
What a disappointing visit. Arrived at 10:30am, despite advertising an opening time of 10am, and they were closed. I saw a lady inside who came out and said ‘We’ll be open in about 30 mins.’ We left and returned 30 mins later, they were still closed. We waited a little longer.. nothing. So we decided to get coffee elsewhere even with the limited choices elsewhere in Polperro. Returned an hour later to give their scones a chance. They were open! Woohoo! But then wow, wish we never bothered. The lady was rude, overcharged us, and the scones weren’t even delicious. What an embarrassment and absolute shambles this place is.
Scones were very stale/overbaked unfortunately. May have been an off day but I've had days old scones that were fresher.
Brilliant home made scones jam & cream. Brilliant service. Brilliant place for afternoon tea any time 5X recomendation. Hope to call again before we return home.

Had an amazing time here, very Covid safe. Guy that runs it you can tell enjoys his work, very chatty if talk to him, but doesn't just talk at you. HIGHLY recommended. Very reasonably priced and scones are amazing.
