Shocking! It won't let me give 'no stars'.  We had booked a table for 10 last week for the 'curryoke' tonight. When we arrive, the place is empty, as in more staff than customers, and they say they don't have our booking.  Only after we have started eating do they bother to tell us that there won't be any karaoke tonight and still kept insisting that we hadn't booked. Hostile atmosphere and staring staff.  Very limited choice of food, and only 1 vegetarian main course option, although it was of good quality. OK, 1  for that  Very disappointed, as we were here 3 months ago and had a great wee night.....that's why we booked it again.  Needless to say, we won't go back.

This place does the best value carry out Indian meals in East Kilbride! Great portion sizes, always leftovers for the next day! Last night, two family meals for 3, supposed to feed 6, there were 8 of us and still some left!! Highly recommended!!

Still enjoy buffet food but most dishes same colour.  Busy at month end pay day so worth avoiding those days if you can.  Karaoke fun but we left before it got exciting.

Would never come back to this restaurant. Ordered from it tonight and took just under 2 hours to actually be delivered even though it’s only 15 minutes away from my house in the car. Then when it got delivered it was freezing cold and I ordered buttermilk chicken and rice and I got NO chicken in the sauce. I was so furious but did not want to phone back to correct the order as I had already waited for so long to actually get it in the first place. Will never be ordering from here again.

WORST TAKEAWAY IN EAST KILBRIDE.  Rude ignorant staff.  Placed an order on just eat and waited for it to arrive.  I work in an office block and explained that the door may be locked and that the driver will need to phone me and I'll come down.  An hour and a half later I get a call from someone claiming that his driver phoned me twice and that he's went back to the restaurant and is refusing to deliver to me again unless I pay for 2 delivery charges.  Just to clarify I had no missed calls and when I explained this to the guy on the phone he kept saying that it's alright for me because I don't need to pay the driver for two trips.  His driver is either a liar or there has been a mistake but the customer service was horrendous.  Argumentative and rude.  Much better Indian restaurants in EK without going here.

Went for the buffet, as we had been before and liked it. Didn't think it was as  good as it was before, seemed a bit "lacking" than on previous visit. Only one waitress serving and she looked a bit rushed off her feet. Updated menu required as some things no longer available in the drinks department.

I hope everyone who eats in this restaurant is aware that the staff are not allowed to keep their tips.  The owner/manager takes any gratuities that are given to his employees in good faith by customers and keeps them.  This is disgraceful practice that I just felt should be highlighted in order that customers are aware of what is happening

This is  great place to chill out with Karaoke DJ John columb gets the place jumping the Buffet is brill all you can eat and five drinks for  twenty-three pounds there was four of us and we had a fab time. There is  something for everyone even the friendly staff get involved in the karaoke .Cloee is great singer and should get more time to sing keep up good work all well-done all. So if your stuck need a meal Buffet or party come alone and enjoy we did  thanks again every body in Raj palace. Respect.

Worst experience ever.. It was total waste of money. Didn’t find staff welcoming! It wasn’t crowded however, the buffet bowls were empty for long time. When asked for refill, the waitress was kind to serve starter on the table; although the starter we ordered aloo tikki was too oily.. couldn’t eat any. All curry sauces tasted same. Won’t visit this place again.

Let down big time with Christmas dinner yesterday.  No stuffing, pigs in blankets or chipolata sausages. Sweet corn with a christmas dinner poor choice simply added as a plate filler. Turkey was cold and deserts were those put on for the buffet no special Christmas menu choice. Really disappointed. Quite cramped too. Staff luvly as always
