Great venue, delicious food and excellent service. I have had my sons birthday party here and it was awesome. Every staff of The Raj made sure that we have good time. They went extra mile to make this event special. Food was fantastic, served in right time. Freshly cooked. Everybody was happy and had great time. The restaurant has only been open 2 months and we initially walked past it one lunchtime, noticing that they were open at lunch. We decided to book a table on a whim in the following days and we were not disappointed. We booked a lunchtime table for four and ordered three dishes. Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and Goan Fish Curry, plus the usual extra’s. Everything was out of this world - flavours were superb, special shout out for the onion bhaji’s too! Absolutely amazing. We will be back and we don’t hesitate to recommend.

The place was very clean, tidy, our server Ralf was most helpful, proactive, took interest in our experience and made sure that we had everything in the way we asked for. The food was very well presented, delicious.
The Raj is totally different to any of the "just another Indian restaurant". In order to realise this major difference, just walk in and ask for the chef's special "Molecular Gastronomy" dishes. These dishes will blow your mind as they look like supermodels and taste like a dream.
Overall not a great experience after visiting the Raj yesterday. 2.50 for a cup of coke out of a 2 litre bottle. Food was average at best. No VAT receipt. Coming from London I’ve been to plenty of Indian restaurants and I must say this was one of the worst. Food was nice, although was clearly not freshly made on site. Wouldn’t recommend. Wouldn’t return.
If you are craving for scrumptious Indian food then this is the place to go. Every food item we ordered was immaculate. The spice levels are customisable. We wanted something on the spicier side which was similar to food made in India and the chef was able to create it. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to eat Indian food in Swindon.
Had a fabulous meal tonight. The Goan fish curry was the best I've tasted, the fish just fell apart, delicious spices, Tandoori mixed grill was lovely, plenty of it, lots of variety. 10 out of 10. Staff were helpful and efficient. The premises are large and well presented.
fud was tasty but service was unorganised one has to sit for a 1hr to 2hr to get order......food quantity is very less.... not eve has to order 2 to get proper quantity
The Tandoori mixed grill was really tasty and reasonably priced. There were two downsides 1 The dessert menu didnt contain any hot desserts, only ice cream 2 The restaurant itself was a bit chilly so it felt a little uncomfortable. But the food was delicious and staff were really friendly.Food: 5/5
