During recent service, they advised all new brake discs and pads for a stock LRRR Evoque. I looked at the discs, and right enough, the discs have done their job and now need replaced. Was quoted £1,000 for supply & fit by them. Decided to price parts individually. 2 front discs plus pads, and 2 rear discs plus pads. £200 delivered for quality branded brake parts. This means one of 2 things... they want £800 for labour alone, or they are getting ripped off by their parts supplier. Either way, they are not getting another penny's worth of business, as they are clearly not even remotely interested in looking out for their customers. Best of luck to you if you choose to do business with this company, but you have been warned. Plenty of other luxury marque mechanics in the area that won't rip you off.

Absolutely shocking service, considering the fact you are paying literally a month's mortgage worth for a car's monthly payments, to be given service that I can only describe as bad as the stories you hear about Arnold Clarks cowboy after-sales care. Clearly trying to drag out repairs and work because the car was nearing the end of it's warranty, they must have an attitude and view that service isn't a big deal as it certainly came across that way. The car sat in their garage twice from early morning until the end of a working day, to not be touched and with not an inch of work done to it but they only notified us of "not having parts, needing to order parts" etc at the end of day each time it was in. A shabby apology was given to say the least and didn't offer any resolution or goodwill gesture to even pick up the car next time to have the work needing done, done. My partner had to ask for a manager call back and request for the car to be picked up and dropped off before it was even a choice, they were going to make him wait another 2/3 weeks before getting the car back in and giving him a courtesy car. Even the final time of the car being took in, they had to keep it an extra day because they forgot to fix a fault.. so he was left with no car for work. I have no idea why people return to Taggarts, cars are over-rated & unreliable & clearly the service is just as bad !!! Save yourself the grief and get yourself a better car with better service for less money!

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced considering it is a Premium Car dealership and the monthly payments are a fortune! My car was booked in over the Easter period which I had queried at the start of the booking as to if they would be open or not on Easter Monday - they assured me they were. On Easter Friday I get a call at 6pm saying the Service Dept. is closed on Easter Monday (WOW really?!) and could I take my car in for repairs on the Tuesday. (They had 3.5weeks notice to order the parts in and to have this in place). On my arrival to the Service dept on the Tuesday, I was told some parts were not in stock and could I return on Thursday, NO! I stood my ground and explained I had a 2 year child and I work so this would not be possible. She then went on to say my car will be taken in but they do not have a Demo car available (she did assure me on the first meeting of the booking I would have a demo car available, it is also recorded on my documents she gave me). I said this was unacceptable (Still no apology) . An hour and a half passed until I finally spoke to the Head of Business (Steven) who sought-out a demo car for me and my child who had been waiting for over 2 hours. So off we went in the demo car - to top it off the Service girl (Gemma) had forgotten to return my Drivers license and take my spare key from me (it needed re-chipped). So a further 5 days later I receive a phone call to bring in the spare key!!! (STILL NO APOLOGY) On the arrival of collecting my car (god help me), I was asked to wait in the waiting area. perfect ! everything has went smoothly....... Whilst waiting a Salesman approached me with my keys and said the following: 'Your car has not been washed/valetd - Why dont you just take it just now to save you waiting about, cause it will be 25 mins till its sorted?' I was absolutely gobsmacked at the lack of care and respect they have for a £535 per month Range Rover !!! I would expect the car to at least be washed and hoovered as part of the Service, I would be better off going to BMW who properly valet your car. Needless to say I waited and received my 'Clean' Range Rover Evoque which had been quickly washed on the outside but the inside was not what I would expect a Range Rover garage would hand back in after being in their care for 3 weeks. Utterly shocking. Poor customer service, lack of communication and organisation skills. All the staff look miserable also!

I have been buying Land Rovers for approx30 years. With all the dealerships there is a certain style about them, Taggarts Glasgow excelled themselves with my most recent purchase. They phone when they say they will, the car was exceptionally clean and they filled the tank with fuel. Very pleased with the service I received.
