Awesome, friendly staff. Amazing tea! Melbourne breakfast is our favourite. Nothing is too much trouble for the people working there. I feel they would brew all the tea in China for you to try a sample of. Join the Tea Society, free samples, free tea on your birthday, free gift wrapping and every 13th box of tea is free.
First impressions were very good. The shop was quiet and I was given a lot of attention by staff member who let me sniff a lot of tea and gave me several to taste. I haven't tasted the ones I bought but I will add some comments when I have. The tea is fairly pricey and the option to taste some is important. The variation in flavours of all the different types of tea is so much greater than coffee it can be an expensive mistake to buy a few teas you don't like. Presentation of the tea is sophisticated looking and like another well known tea and coffee chain, the image is up market. I would say this company looks more contemporary and perhaps, if tea drinking comes back like coffee has, then they will be well placed to cash in.
The store is really cute and it is fun to browse here. I asked for local tea as I wanted to bring some tea home from my travels and found that all the tea in this shop was imported from Australia. I found that very surprising but maybe if you live in Birmingham sometimes you just crave tea from Australia. I enjoyed browsing but did not purchase anything. Staff was very friendly and helpful and there were teas you could try out
Staff friendly, plenty of tea to choose just ask a question and you get a pretty good answer. I have also seen people ask for a sample and the staff have brewed a small sample there and then. It's not cheap rubbish tea. The price isn't what you pay in supermarkets for branded tea, expect to pay a bit more. They also do loyalty card. They did when I went April 18
Massive range of tea and all staff are really knowledgeable of their products especially the matcha. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always happy to sample little things. The teapots, teacups and other items are very pretty and are perfect for tea fanatics
The staff are always friendly and willing to help you decide on tea. There's free fresh tea brewed for testing. Sign up for emails and you can occasionally get a box for free, really useful as there's at least 60 different varieties to taste.
Extremely nice and helpful staff, happy to give you as much or as little help as you want, making it really comforting to go in there especially compared to LUSH where the staff won't leave you alone!!. Lots of different teas to try when you walk in, and staff happy to make you samples of specific teas if you ask, so you know you'll buy something you enjoy. . Been in there a few times now and only keep having positive experiences.
I love this place. Three staff are so friendly. And the tea is amazing so much variety and everything is deliciously. They put out lots of testers so you can be sure you're going to love what you're buying. Would highly recommend.
Really nice fragrance around the shop gives it a great atmosphere and theres a huge variety of teas so it was easy to find something I liked. Everything is affordable and the employees are really friendly. Overall, a great experience and will definitely make a purchase here again.
I love this place. If you love tea you'll love it here and it's great for gifts too. They have beautiful tea glasses and tea cups and amazing tea straining devices. They have loose leaves and bags and a wide range of different combinations.
