Quiet end of Winchester. Well worth the walk up the hill. Beautiful buildings.
Such a neat location! The infamous round table is here up on the wall. They supply costumes where you can dress up and take pictures in the castle as well which is so neat! We ran in and out really quick and I’m glad we did! It wasn’t too expensive and it was a neat sight to see.
King Arthur and his knights and the legendary round table..a very charming place with an equally charming garden in full bloom this month of June! Also there are costume rentals to try out..and amazing stain glass windows, wedding gates.. The exteriors are equally stunning and a stunning place to spend an hour or so
It is worth paying the entrance. I recommend it.
Nice scenery. What, you want more? Okay. Although having to wear a face mask is annoying, this was soon forgotten as I viewed the original Round Table, the entrance to the dungeons and posters explaining notable events that occurred in the building. Photography is encouraged. "Share this with your friends on Facebook", it says.
What a pity the Covid-19 restrictions meant we couldn't explore everything yet, we loved the visit !! Loads of very interesting stuff on display, fantastic value for money!!
