Wonderful experience from start to finish and will definitely hire hikes from T a V again on the island. Contacted the store to reserve as the website was having issues.  Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Sound advice and tips given as well as ideas for cycling routes and a very handy map outlining some great routes to follow.  We opted for the electric bikes and they were exceptional!  Many thanks for a positive experience and for helping us have a fun holiday.

If I could give this place a million stars I would! The guys at TAV cycled sorted us out with bikes to hire for the day during our staycation in the Isle of Wight. They were incredibly helpful, thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. They even had road bikes to hire which was a must for us! They gave us advice on routes, even recommending pubs, cafes and ice cream stops - we visited all of their suggestions and loved every single one! TaV have their own maps which are made by a local artist and we really enjoyed following the route on the map. I can’t thank these guys enough, they provided such a great personalised and remarkable experience. Probably the best bike hire shop I have ever been to!

A year ago we have visited Isle of Wight. We have received an excellent service with extra tips about an event and routes. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our last minute request for an electric bike we did have a little bit of luck too. Our bikes were ready, checked and proved reliable on our challenging routes. The shop was flexible with a return.

Today I cycled around the IOW, however it wouldn't of been possible without the help of James was able to fix my gear shifter and brake leaver in no time at all. The guys were very attentive and willing to help, would definitely recommend. Their services

Well stocked bike shop in the heart of Ryde High Street.  Full workshop facilities and friendly staff with great knowledge of local trails. Worth popping in for a chat closed on Sunday's.

Very helpful staff, I've been coming to Tav Cycles for 10 years and they have always helped me with my diy electric bikes, I know they think I'm mad but they put up with me. A great shop.

Great service and reasonable rates -  the bike was well maintained and had all the extra kit. I was given a map and some ideas as to where to go - end result was a great trip around the island. Thanks T & V would definitely recommend you.

Hired a bike from these guys to explore the island and couldn't have been happier with the service. The bike was in excellent condition and all the relevant parts worked without a hitch, they even fit my own pedals onto the bike for me. I was also really pleased with the time they took to talk to me about the route I planned to take around the island, if it wasn't for there advice I would have missed some fantastic scenery and roads. The shop also looks very tidy and organised and I wouldn't hesitate to take my own bike there if I lived in the area. Would highly recommend, great service.

I was cycling in the area when a fault developed on the front brake calliper. Walking in unannounced, with my fingers crossed, I asked the guys if they were able to take a look. After a very warm welcome and a “leave it with us” I took a look around the town and returned to find everything sorted. It was quite an unusual and complex fault but TaV sorted it perfectly. In summary, the most friendly and efficient service, all delivered promptly and at great value for money. I could not be happier.

We had an excellent time cycling round the island yesterday on TaV hire bikes. Quick, informative biking intro and set us up well with everything we needed for the bikes for the day and a great flexible return policy that allowed us to cycle into the evening too. Staff could not have been more friendly and well informed, would definitely hire bikes if we visit IoW again, highly recommend!
