Had an absolutely wonderful few days here. The accomodation is hand crafted and beautiful. John and Gill were perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. Food was excellent and they are true champions of local produce. I'd you're booking the experience weekend, you won't be left disappointed! Can't wait to come again.
A wonderful real experience day! The accommodation was awesome, and our evening meals with the owners was delicious. They both really know their stuff, and we learnt so much and had a great laugh! We've come away with things both useful ! and beautiful, things that we'll treasure forever!
My husband & I stayed with our 7month old in conjunction with doing a workshop experience. The Old Pottery featured on Airbnb or you can book direct like we did was brilliant place to stay, set within a peaceful spot of the country. It’s private enough from the main house that we didn’t feel our son’s occasional cries would bother anyone yet close enough that we felt comfortable having delicious dinners outside. The place is incredibly comfy and beautifully made with their craftsmanship, from the woodwork to the ceramics.nnWe both thoroughly enjoyed the workshops, Gill & Jon were incredibly flexible in allowing one of us to take part in their workshops whilst the other was looking after the baby. It resulted in such a fulfilling day with both of us coming away with finished projects. I did some throwing & hand built ceramics and learnt so much and my husband made a knife which he loved. We would heartily recommend booking!
