Horrible app. Unlike other main park apps.nFirst time I was completing my app registration when already on train risking paying fine for the car left on their car park.nThat s how long it was taking.nSecond time I simply left the car park after waiting for too long for the activation codes that didn’t work eventually. my network signal was excellent at the time by the way.As a result I was charged £27.30 on other car park further away. I was rushing not to miss my train and didn’t realise that those robbers in turn rip you off when you stay over 6h on their short stay.nI hope I never have to use that Apcoa parking again and wouldn’t recommend it unless your app is ready and set up before you even leave home. Cost too much stress.
Contradicting expensive information. I regustered on the app for Blue Badge parking which they said was no charge. On the site, there is a notice board stating that Blue Badge parking is not free and normal cost. This cost me a charge for a full day parking on a Saturday as I was misled!!
I wanted to pay 4 hours and been charged for 24. Tried to get refund and have been told it's not possible to pay only 4hour in that day. Not happy.
Main car park for Swindon Railway Station. Lots of spaces available, although will get full at peak times. The entrance road is just before the Station on the one way road. The entrance & exit for the car park are rather tight & cozy to negotiate. Payment by car or the Apcoa app. Walk down the small steps by the Station to access the Station.
Horrendous voice menus that remember your phone number so if you are not a regular at a particular station you get 'do you want to park car xx I sold it 5 years ago / its my other car / its my mum's car using the debit car xxx Expired 2 years ago etc - I avoid them like the plague and park elsewhere or, if desperate, use cash. Last time I looked, no option to pay in advance either.
