Been coming here for quite a few years (prior to it being company owned) as parents have a van. Views over swanage are great and location is not too bad to walk into town or go exploring over Durlston reserve. Current owners have made a go of it and the facilities are ok. There's a swimming pool, gym, bar, entertainment and restaurant (although we aren't impressed with the food and always eat elsewhere as there so much local choice with far better quality). The club is small so does get quite busy in the evenings. We've generally enjoyed coming here although it's the location that makes it so nice.

Swanage bay view is a great site, stayed in a privately owned caravan with an amazing view, site clean and well maintained. Club house was quiet, not a lot going on, sean and marcus were fun characters but without them would have been very boring. Some staff need to look happy and even smile occassionally even if they pretend, it would be better than looking uninterested and like they would rather be somewhere else.

Caravan was great, location is fine facilities somewhat lacking! Mediocre swimming pool with not enough showers (only 2 unisex) but the biggest let down was the 'entertainer' in the club house. Apparently 7 kids aren't enough of an audience for him so he gestured to some giant jingo blocks (2 of which were missing) a half inflated football and a game of snakes and ladders - with no dice and suggested the little ones play with these. Not what I'd call an hour of kids entertainment!! We decided to eat in the club house too - bad mistake! Beef Stroganoff looked more like green slime and gave us all stomach cramps. Swanage is a nice place but the inside of Swanage Bay View's leisure facilities could be sooooo much better if the bar and entertainment staff realised what their job roles were.
